Alexanda said:Somehow, I have a good recall ability when it comes to movie quotes and all that. And I remember stories so well that I have to keep away from a book for a while (after going through it probably a second time) before it gets interesting again. I love quoting movies!

Me too, Alex! The other day, my younger sister and I were quoting "Shriek" and my older sister said, "How can you guys remember all that? We only watched it once, and that was like five years ago!"

Also, I can play a game where you really need to concentrate and sing along to a song at the same time. And... erm... *wracks brain* Well, I have a terrible memory but sometimes I can remember little things like a smile or something someone said to me.

Oh yeah, and at camps and stuff like then, when we have the lyrics of a song up on a board, once we've sung the first line I can tell how the rest will go. It just sort of makes sense.

If anyone had happened to look out of a window on the east side of the palace, they might have noticed two figures in the darkness, dancing in a square bordered by living plants, out of time with the dancers inside but perfectly in time with each other.

Compared to what and how many other people is my ability supposed to be unique?
For me this is a careless question, because is does not set boundaries, without which the question is irrelevant.

A better way to say it would be talent, Gandolorin.

Which many other people may share, and forget uniqeness?
Fine with me.

Yes, thats exactly it. I guess the name of the thread should be changed, then? To "What is your Talent?"

Talent - I would be hard-pressed to state in any conclusive way what my talents are. Correct me if I am wrong, but that seems to me to be a natural ability. Abilities can also be learned, as is the case with my knowledge of our cost control computer system. Mind you, I have no programming abilities which our IT specialists have, but part of my job is to take questions (phone calls if not in the building I have my desk) and, if possible, answer the questions, relieving our IT service desk (or help-desk) from these questions. In fact, sometimes calling me is better that the IT service desk would be, because they "only" know how to do something right. I have learned where people can get lost in our computer system because I have taken a look at where people have done so. Meaning that I can say "yeah, I've seen that error before", while our IT specialists (the programmers) can only reply with "what the <bleep> were you thinking when you did that idiotic <bleep>???"
So how do we call the thread now?
