Gondor! I *love* this place...especially adorable Minas Tirith! I loved the city...Rohan wouldn't be bad as well. You see, I prefer Men, not that fond of Hobbits and Elves

My first thought was Rohan because the culture is kindly with strong family values and, of course, I do love horses. Next I considered Lothlorien. Probably the most elegantly beautiful place that ever existed anywhere. The singing, the peace. But I'm not that keen on climbing trees any more and I think that some of the lofty elegance might chafe after a while. The shire is beautiful and its people fun-loving but in the end my vote went to Rivendell because it's such a wonderful open place, more open to other cultures and ideas. And there's nothing wrong with elven horses. They are strong, fast and incredibly brave.

I have to say the Shire: even though I really, really like all the others, the Shire is the place that feels most like home. While I would love to visit any of those places, they wouldn't feel homelike enough, though Rivendell might have a chance.

I think I'd have a really hard time deciding between Imladris and Lothlorien...both are extremely beautiful, however, for now I went with Imladris

I picked the Shire... if I were to be specific, I would pick Buckland, to be close to the river (I like boats and I love to swim). - Rohan would probably be close second, I love horses and in Rohan I could go horse-riding anytime I wanted.
Places to visit on vacation: Minas Tirith, Rivendell, and the Lonely Mountain (dwarves are cool)!

Lothlorien all the way :love: It would be soooooooooo cool to live there. Up in the trees with birds. Second Rivendell ( you can tell I'm an elf fan). And third.....um.... I don't know I lke almost every place in Middle-earth except Mordor.

The Shire, Of course . To live in the beauty of green surroundings , and having fun would be wonderful. I think I would like to be a part in the planing of the great party's at the party tree :disco: . I love to give party's and have a fun time .

Hehe I like the woods.... I'm decorating my room, With my closet I shall have a tree painted on it, door- moon on a dark blue sky with green grass and white stars! My room is blue. I shall have a canopy bed with dark blue satin curtains and white seethrough curtains on the corners and have a periwinkle netting canopy top... I like tents and closed in spaces. Hehe.

I chose the shire since it seems calming and relaxing, but Rivendell would be next on my list. I think I'd stay in Rivendel over the winter and some of spring and hang out in the shire the rest of the year.

If I could live anywhere in ME I'd definitely be at the Grey Havens. That place was gorgeous in the movie!
But since that's not a choice I picked Gondor. Specifically Minas Tirith, I loved that place too.

i would choose Fangorn, because it's got sooo much character; i can't be the only one who would love to live in a small cottage in Fangorn (or even better a flet).
So even though i don't think it's an option i choose Fangorn.

Hey! noone has put the Misty Mountains! that is un fair what is wrong with a dark damp island in the middle of a lake under the misty mountains! it works for us precious (gollum gollum)

Hey! No one has put the House of Tom Bombadil! Come on now! That isn't the only place in Middle-earth I'd like to live, but it is the most untouched. Think about it! Evil doesn't come there at all! It remains unscathed by the troubles of the world, cause no one knows Tom is there! Except, you do have the Barrow Downs nearby. That would be kinda scary.
