OK is it just me that loves Eomer or is he the hottest thing since fire,come on i cant be alone in this surely,he was my fave male character from the book and he looks realy good in the film.:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:

Yes I think he's very good-looking (and I'm posting this as myself...so no jokes about how I like my "brother"!)

I think I'm actually liking the Men from the movie best as opposed to the Elves..sure they're dirtier most of the time and not as "refined", but there is definitely an attraction there.....

Hmm, he does a little bit. It could just be the picture or the camera angle and lighting: I've seen other pictures of Karl and he's a bit different than Leo.

hahahahahahaha K!!!!!!!!!!! You´re right, Vala, that guy looks like Di Caprio in that pic (enough reason to dislike him). He looks way better as Éomer, the beard makes him look more masculine. Have a q. : Are those eyes REAL??? ¬_¬

Aww, don't dislike him just because he looks like Leo in that one picture. It's an unfortunate accident: I'm sure he didn't mean to. It's not like he is Leo, after all...

Looks like someone else found the Xena Hunks page too...:drool: :love: It's one of my faves....
I've been a Karl fan for YEAAAARRRRRSSSS.....He's just YUMMY...
And that picture is GORGEOUS...he don't look like leo! Okay...so maybe a little...but still...he's a lot taller and has darker hair and MUCH prettier eyes...*siiiiiiiiigh*:drool: :blush:
Anyhoozle...I just always feel obliged to defend Karl to the death cuz he's just a tasty treat you guys...:heart: he usually is clean-shaven but he always has his hair it's semi-normal color (dark brown/black) but I cannot wait to see him all scruffy as Eomer...mmmm....long hair....the scruffy face...somewhat dirty....wearing body armour....riding a horse...:love: :drool: :blush: *swoon, thud*

I hadn't seen his face with his helmet off and have to say I liked it better on. He is such an awesome character though! I had originally thought he would be cuter than Faramir.Actually I'm kinda all prepared to fixate on them both as there's that big space where Boromir once was (~sigh~) Please don't hate me ppl but that above photo sorta reminds me of Joey from...yeah you know who I'm talking about! (..Ahem, Friends)
Don't know if I should: or:cry:, or just wait for the rad costumes and long hair to make it all better....

Karl plays the Captain of a ship who has had a really bad-guy type past. If I'm correct in my assumptions, his role is going to probably be kinda like Xena where his character is constantly in battle with his darker side of himself. It takes place in outer space so, it's geared toward space-geeks like myself Huzzah! Karl in Space! *L*

Whoo hoo! I found the Eomer topic! (Since I was tempted to start one of my own)....

As I recently told Mhairi, I based my RP "honey" after Karl Urban as Eomer.....Those eyes, that look!

Once I see TTT, I might have to give up on the whole Legolas thing, and become a pure Eomer-Fancier...

Well, I saw Karl in the Edoras video since my last post. I was wrong, very wrong to say that he should keep his helmet on. He looks good with dark hair !

I heartily agree...I don't know if I've ever considered DeCaprio to ever have been attractive. I highly doubt it. Nice voice, but not attractive to me. Karl Urban is just great, and I'm counting down the hours until I can see him in TTT!

OK, so I've just checked out some of the pages on Karl. I didn't realise he was so young! Only two years older than me. I thought, from the pics of him as Eomer (my only point of reference until today), that he was at least in his mid-thirties.

He's really not my type (says she who craves the original Kiwi drool-bucket, Russell Crowe :dizzy: ) but when he's done up in full Rohirrim armour, with helmet and on horseback... well, who could refuse?
