Anyone else from the south? Of course I know there are a few- but who are yall? I can't be the only ringer who says "yall" and eats grits! Drop in and say hello!

Hey, how ya'll doin'? I'm from the south. I love grits, with butter. Have some toast and bacon, that's some good eatins'. Exactly where in the south do you hail from? I'm from Florida myself.

Well, it's grand to meet fellow southern folk! Especailly when they're in my neck of the woods!

I hail from LA, Lower Alabama, that it. I live on the coast of Mobile Bay. My son lives in northwest FL and I go there to visit him often.

I've been wanting to meet some of my CoE friends. Alot of them live in the mid-west and east coast. For some reason, there doesn't seem to be alot of "our kind" of folk down here in the good old south. So it's very nice to meet you.

I heard northeast FL being mentioned, but was that north of Mobile Bay in AL? Just wondering.

I also live in Florida on the east coast about 30 miles north of Daytona Beach. Although I have only lived here for 11 years and originally come from the Mid-West so I don't say yall or eat grits. I'm not even sure what grits are. But there are no LotR activities around here either, I haven't even met another Tolkien obsessor yet.

South Carolina! Born and bred in the south, in a small hick town. I have never left the South, thank goodness. I am just so glad that I was born where I was. I think the accent we have is AWESOME! Thank y'all very much. -Naera

Howdy ya'll...
Ok so I've never actually said "howdy" to anyone...ever. I prefer "Suilad"
I was born and raised in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee and over the last decade have resided in Southeastern Kentucky & Southwestern Virginia. I am now back home in Tennessee, Only 10 minutes from where I grew up! I've been accused of being slightly nomadic, but as wise Hobbits say, "the road goes ever on..."

My aunt and my best friend live in Texas! It's really awesome there! Is my friend lying to me when he says that scorpions get into the houses all the time? I'm scared of 'em, though, so he may be pulling my leg... 'Cause, I have never seen one out there, but I've never stayed long.

Also, is everyone else's Spring as beautiful as it is in South Carolina? Its so warm and pretty here. Saturday we went swimming in the creek. We were cold, but it was fun!

The south is such a beautiful place-mountains, beaches, woods and wonderful, gentle folk. Heaven, it is indeed.

Hey Dark Night!! We're from the same part of the South. I'm From Northwest Arkansas. It's pretty remote up in my part of the State, so I just about fell over with excitement! Nice to know ya lol. :cheers:
