I really don't think ya'll have to worry about Orli being gay, I've seen several interviews where he talks about his GIRLfriend(s), and I remember him saying that when he started reading LotR he never finished because he started getting really interested in girls (I think he was 14 at the time).

And I like Orli with his dark hair better that Legolas with his blonde.

That's true. I really don't care if Orli is gay. Besides if that person doesn't know anything about him then they shouldn't talk about him.

I like the blonde better, but really i think it is his face and those deep eyes that I like the best... dark or light hair aside.

HI! I am new, and a little shy...so I hope to have fun here. I love Orlando as much as the next person (He..maybe more) and I am positive that he is not gay and that is not because I am madly in love with him. The rumors that he was gay have always been around because Andre is gay and since he is Orlando's "best bud" that the rumor has appeared. But he is not gay...I don't think he would be and not say anything.. since Ian Mckellan is gay and does not hide it. Since they were both in the same movie it would be stupid for Orlando to try to hide it or in fact actually be gay. These rumors also started due to the lack of female characters in the Lord of the Rings movies, but I have seen that in the moments while there was no filming the guys swarmed around Arwen(Liv) and as Elijah quoted, "She threw that bit of estrogen that we all kinda needed."
I hope this helps clear up all those ridiculous rumors.

I think that Legolas/Orlando is so-so cute! (guess you could fiqure that out by my name)I love how in some lines his accent comes out a little. Like in TTT when he says"...or would you like me to find you a BOX" When he says box it has his accent in it a little:love::heart::love:

But seriously I wouldn't believe any rumors about him, it's just because he's so popular and attractive. Like how people said Superman was his idol but he's not(read in TeenPeople). Anyways he said he's hope to have his own website up soon to squash the rumors.

i dont think you got to very either, because i just red in a magazin that when they did LOTR he was togheter whit a girl..

he really got lucky, a huge role in a major blockbuster right out of school wow that is really cool.and he was in black hawk down too, he really go lucky, i'm sure every other person in the drama department of colleges would kill to get that lucky i am really impressed

on the official site it says that he tryed out of the forimir part but was given Legolas because the casting director though it would have been better for him, and sean bean played Borimir (they guy how get shot with arrows)

Not long. He only has 2 lines. But he has a very cool hat!

Yes, in the FOTR computer game you can really notice it. I love hearing him speak in elvsh, it's so flowing. He takes long strides in the FOTR PC game.

Did it bug anyone else that the one person in FotR who DIDN'T speak elvish was THE elf? Arwen & Elrond, yeah, but where Legolas' lines? FINALLY the DVD EE gives us an Elvish-speaking elf (in a different outfit for a few moments, too!). One of my favorite parts is all his lines in Lothlorien & that snide "Why doesn't that surprise me?" at Moria.

Oh I loved that part! It really is a shame they didn't have more of him speaking elvish, I loved how he sounded speaking it.

I love that "Why doesn't that suprise me?" I think its funny because people keep saying the elves are snobs, because they are so aloof/composed, and there he goes being all sarky.

I still haven't seen TT. One of my friends asked why. I said I had been busy. They said "For 2 MONTHS??" Umm, yesh. oops.
