I'd "fetch" it and then give it right back to Melkor, obviously. I would pass it off as a test of the security system, a good reason to increase vigilance and security efforts in the Dark Lord's fortress.

I'd accept and take my position in the army of the Valar. Possibly in the groups not in actual combat, though.

I guess the key word would be "summoned" ..... presumably I haven't yet shuffled off this mortal coil.

I would accept but make sure I could get out again before doing so .... and make sure I was introduced to his lovely wife.

WWYD if Gandalf arrived on your doorstep and wanted you to go on a quest, without giving you specifics?

I would look deeply into his eyes and tell him if he ever scares to squirrels here again the way he just did I will hammer his head with the 34 inch Adirondack baseball bat I keep on the balcony for just such intrusions.

Well, since I'm on of Morgoth's minions, Glaurung and I are old friends so I would invite him into my yard (he wouldn't fit into the house) and tend to his injuries. Then I would go out and "borrow" one of neighbours Image which he can roast for our dinner.

WWYD if you met a dirty man in a Green long coat while you were walking along the road to Minas Tirith and he asked you to join in his expedition to the Paths of the Dead?
