No not yet and besides, it's not only for me to decide...You can have a say in it also.

Ok then I think I'll just let you know... Alright I think it's about time we started our poker game. *grabs a deck of cards off the counter and begins dealing out the cards to all those playing*

Thanks for holding down the fort, Naru-ru. This place would be a shambles if not for you!
This place IS a shambles, Rho! Tudo's worse, Merry & Pippin are in a gluttony contest of their own, thanks to my big mouth, M & Haldir have postponed their wedding, ...I'm SO sorry, you two! let us know the second you settle on a new date, okay?... and the dance contest got messed up, and in the move we've lost Tegol's book with all his notes in it! I think you deliberately waited for the new room's opening to hide out, didn't you! You rest up now. When you're up to full-time in the new room I'm taking a nap with my husband!

Still, with a new poker game underway and twisty straws everywhere, it's starting to feel like the old place. Maybe I just need a strong cocoa, extra cinnamon.

HANN: Don't fret, Naru. Tegol's book was right on the table in the old room where he'd left it to dance. You drink your cocoa and relax, please. I'll be giving the next backrub, looks like, to you.
Tegol, who's minding the books with you roaming around Middle Earth? We need to go back to Minas Tirith sometime soon. I miss the walls.

*Tegol looks pained at that last remark. Hann mentally kicks himself for not avoiding Tegol's sore spots, but not knowing what pains him, he can only guess!*
TEGOL: You know that we have a fine, new team of talented researchers, copyists, archivists and historians. I was one among many. We do miss Narulothwen's hand in our records. Old Baggins was a fine teacher of the pen. The team does have a need for talented illustrators, however...

I'm travelling to collect personal accounts of the end of the Third Age. I never dreamed I'd find my Rivendell traveling companion here, and newly-wed, at that. I've been remiss; my congratulations, Hannastirn. All the best. And Lady Goldberry here, too. I may share my notes from our visit sometime... when I have them polished and presentable, but not before.

Sorry it took so long to get over here but Prim needed changing. To the new comer I am Melilot Baggins but everyone calls me Mel. I'm a server here so if you want anything I'm here. I use to be a Bolger before I married this hot hobbit here named Frodo. You might have heard about him. This little bundel of joy is our 11 month old Primula named after Frodo's mother. If you need anything just let me know. Don't forget guys I am a server!

*Goes over to Barliman to find out if he needs me to work*

Barliman: Melilot, you are my favorite server. Your family has been a big help for years. You don't need to work for a while. These are your friends here; don't worry about it. I've got Fatty on your shift and I got some other helpers who came in the other day. Frodo, I'm so glad to finally met you. First time you were in here you ran right out. So you're the one who took away my best server when we needed her the most.

Frodo: I'm sorry Barliman. She followed us. I didn't want her to be out there but I could not stop her. Mel, honey, let's go to the poker game and let Barliman do his job. Nice talking to you Barliman.

Barliman: Ya, same here. *hugs Mel* If I need you I'll let you know but have fun!

Mel: Thanks Barliman. Hey don't start the poker game yet, me and Frodo are joining! Hey, Tegol, if you don't feel like talking or dancing or anything thing you can play with Prim and get her to walk. We are trying to teach her. If not we can pull her play pen over to the table which means all of you have to behave.

*Mel goes and gets an ale with a blue twisty straw for Frodo and a water with a green twisty straw for her self plus two stews and some virgin fruit rings for Prim.*

Meli, I've never been able to keep it straight, HOW are you related to Frodo? And wouldn't that make you related to Pippin, too? There's too many forks in our family trees for me to keep it straight without a diagram!

HANN: Jeanne, we've heard some strange things from you in the time you've been here & we have mostly laughed it off as wild imaginings or trauma from being a prisoner in Moria, but Tegol is new to our land and you've shaken his city-boy sensibilties. You can't go scaring a man like that and expect him to be comfortable around you.

NARU (toting Prim who's chewing an orange fruit ring): He needs to be sure that you are... well, not dangerous. That talk of being a fighter, your "powers"... Think how that sounds to a stranger.

I've been "Aunty May" for more than 10 years now! And we hobbits don't 'patter' our BIG feet! I never thought I'd have a chance to have my own... Lived among the elves most of my adult life! Then after the war I think all the lads were scared of me - my height and my history!
Hann, have you thought about that? Having children? CAN we? I mean is it possible?

HANN: I don't know if it's possible. Never heard of a match like ours. I came out of a big family, you know! I'd like to be someone's dad someday! We've only been married ... two weeks tomorrow! We shall have to see what we can do about that!

NARU: By "big" you mean "lots" right? Not big-like-Tudo? Starting a family sounds wonderful to me... but... not right this minute...:blush:

TEGOL: That offer sounds nice, Goldberry. I have heard about these rings, but have yet to try them. Shall we all sit at this large table together?

Naru, I'm not related to Pippin see my mom's a Proudfoot and my dad is a Baggins and I'm not really sure how it all works out but my parents have always told me I'm only related to Baggins's and Proudfoot's!

Has anyone ever noticed how much the chairs move after a pint of ale?:dizzy: *takes a drink of her new pint*
They just won't stay still long enough for me to sit down...*drinks the rest of her pint and goes to get her bow, which she notches with an arrow and sort of points at a chair* This should settle that chair...*releases the arrow that goes into the wall instead of the chair...*
Oops...maybe I need another pint to help me aim...Hey Barliman another cold one over here!*drinks her pint and notches another arrow*
Ok so lets see if I can secure a chair to the floor this time...

Poppy, N+I+C+E seat! But don't let him 'help' you with the cards. It's not his "strong suit"!

M, Goldy's right, tho. The younger ears and many of the older ones don't know enough of the old language to understand that invitation! Still, we have to be careful that the young ones don't repeat what they HEAR, even if they don't comprehend, right?

Meli, I'm surprised! Most of us hobbits are connected if we dig far enough back, but I don't recall any Proudfeet in the Took line; are there Pip? The Tooks and Bagginses are kin though, in fact, Frodo is closer kin to Master Bilbo through the Took line than by the Baggins branch! Master Bilbo kept good records of all that, but I'm out of practice & would have to look at the books again to straighten it all out. Anyway, there IS a chance that you are a distant cousin to young Peregrin there. Kissing cousins, for sure! But, not enough to fret about, I'm sure.
