Well, I am a king of Arthedain who held his own against the Witch-King, until one day on Amon Sûl.....

Here's a sample of what I get on Google:

Arveleg I
(TA 1309 - 1409)

Eighth King of Arthedain. The son of Argeleb I. Father of Araphor. The Dùnedain from Arthedain under command of Arveleg came out of the North to defend the tower of Amun-Sul and the Palantiri, but the Witch-king from Angmar took advantage of the war among the three realms and ravaged Cardolan and overran Rhudaur. The remaining Dùnedain of Cardolan survived in the forest and at the Barrow Downs, while Rhudaur was completely destroyed. Both realms became a subject to Angmar and the Witch-King and were now inhabited by evil things. The tower of Amun Sul was destroyed but the Dùnedain were aided by Cirdan from Lindon. They repelled the forces of Angmar and brought the Palantiri to Fornost. Arveleg was slain in the battle with the Witch-King of Angmar TA 1409.

Well, with the underscore I got nothing, but when I took that out I got an elvish web site -http://steel-butterfly.com/elvish/dic03.html.

But I actually know what my screen name means, in english it is pure forest which is what my real name means.

Ahh... mine is 'maiden' in Quenya. It actualy, means what my real name means, or close enough. My real one means girl.

Waauu what a fun idea.... this thread is.

I got 68 hits, mostly LOTR-related, and I´m apparently not the only Elfhild.. another one in UK also in a LOTR site, really surprising becaurce I chose my name from my middlename whis is Alfhild and it is a name originally from Norway

My user name Elf_Elbereth. Elf (because that my race) and Elbereth because I was named after her.
My middle name is Edhelrin which means Crowned Elf or Elf Queen.

I only added the "of-the-Valar" part because (so many have had this same problem) someone already had the shorter version of just Nienna :cry: Oddly enough I have never seen anyone named just Nienna post :dizzy: Nasssssty trickssssy name stealerssss

When I do a search I get an entry on my lovely Valië and a couple of pictures and a news article I posted to CoE

Nope. Nothing. Well except for google telling me if I had meant to put in 'channel' instead. >_>

Didn't expect anything. Because shavynel -shouldn't- be anywhere except where I put it! And I've only started to use it recently. So where did it come from? Started by making it a race for an RP site. Sorta like, not completely, a shapeshifter. Half snake-ish, half human and sort of somehow like a feline. I expected nothing less.

I got a poll about Evanescence whom I don't particularly like. Plus the homepage of some other band that I'd never heard of that also had a song called "Save Me." And stuff from Weekly World News (HAHAHA) .But mostly I got sites about the musical "Bat Boy" which is where I got the line from. By the way, see "Bat Boy" it's hilarious! It's one of my favorite musicals.

Wow! I never thought to actually do a search of my User name. Google gave me two pages and I am most of the first page! Sweet!

I found my user name on some Hobbit/Elf name generator. Then once I had it I tried my best to figure out what it actually meant in Sindarin. Here is what I found...

Leg(e) = green
Bri(l) = glittering/glimmering
-wen = lady

So... Green, glimmering lady

I did also add a last name, but rarely use it so I have to go and find it to recal what I had.. It had something to do with the Elves of Ossiriand and their awesome singing voices...

I found it! Nurlind... People of the Song (or something like that).

I did a scearch for my User name, and nothing could be found. Lost, Lost Poor hobbitmom is lost, :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:. LOL
Put funny aside, I was not suprised that I didn't find anything because I just made it up, Hobbitmom. I love the Hobbits and would love to be their mom . What more can I say .

I was born in the year of the Dragon according to the Chinese Zodiac. So I took this personality test to see what kind of Dragon you are and I am a Topaz Dragon.

I used my elvish name of Nibinberaidwen for years and decided I needed a change. AOLIM I am still Nibinberaidwen.

I pulled my name from the Quenya Lapseparma. It's a Quenyan baby name book. The name Samuel translated into Hebrew is "God Calls" and in Quenya it's Eruesso. I wanted the Sindarin version of Sam but that was Erulasto, and Eruesso looks and sounds a lot better. It just rolls off your tongue.

I searched on Google. Obviously it knowns nothing about the Elven languages. It kept asking if I meant laquenda which of course I did not. My name is Elven and means Green Elf.:blush:

The first thing I got was:
Did you mean And Owen?

Which of course I did not.

Then I got an msn group which the link didn't work to, then my profile here, then a fan fiction from someone else's site. There's a character in it called Andowen (but with an umlaut above the O) which they've taken to mean Stone Woman (although when I looked up the meaning I took it to be Gate Maiden).

I also got a PDF file about MULTISENSOR FUSIONUNDER UNKNOWN DISTRIBUTIONS

Mmm... sounds interesting.

As well as a few German sites (some of which I believe may be LOTR related).

As for the pictures - absolutely nothing (was quite disappointed there)

I went to the Encyclopedia of Arda and found out that my name means : Demons of Power. It also shows that my astrological sign is the same because I'm Aries which means that I also have a temper.

hehe mine mean my first name-Brittany and Baggins 111 cuz bilbo.....Baggins are awesome! lol.......but even though I picked this Bilbo isn't one of my favorite characters but I l think he is cool and then I looked it up on google and I got my self on CoE!! :dizzy:

Interesting. I typed in Gynlin Leigh and it pulled up nothing but then I just put Gynlin and it pulled up a German site about the Cultivation of asparagus! It had to be translated too. Strange.....

Gynlin is my own creation from my real name! Jenn Lynn. Leigh is from my last name, Lee. Nice little bit of german information to learn there. *laughs*
