Here's a song by Darren Hayes that everybody should know; the lyrics are truly great and I really do believe in this.

"If I woke up late
Couldn’t get out of bed
If I bought you a café latte instead
If I lied when I said 32 inches was the size of my waist
And can I admit every once in a while
Even though I dig alternative style
Occasionally I can be caught dancin’ to Britney
And can I confess
That art house doesn’t turn me on
But I like every single thing that Speilberg’s done

[Chorus]
Could I be good enough
Could I be good enough
If the going got worse and the worse got rough
The days became endless and harder than tough
I’d be good enough
Better than best would be simply to be good enough
If everything I give doesn’t seem like a lot
If it’s all that I got, baby tell me that could be good enough.

Where I grew up
The rent was cheap
Though we always had enough to eat
Didn’t have fancy clothes
I never really cared 'cause there were shoes on my toes
And motherly love, I knew it like the back of my hand
She always had a way to make me understand

[Chorus]

'Cause I don’t know which way this road is gonna turn
But I know it’s gonna be fine
But there are some days no matter how much I’ve learned
That the road gets tough
And I don’t feel good enough
But if you’re giving me some of that loving
Could you pass some over
Let me cry on your shoulder and tell me baby
I could be good enough

If I lost my job
And my hair fell out
If I made no sense
And I scream and shout
Would you laugh at me?
Never take a word I say seriously
And when I’m out in the cold
Waiting in the back of the line
Too afraid to drop my name for fear of decline

Could you tell me I’m good enough?
Could I be good enough?
If the going got worse and the worse got rough
The days became endless and harder than tough
I’d be good enough
Better than best would be simply to be good enough
If everything I give doesn’t seem like a lot
If it’s all that I’ve got
Baby tell me that could be good enough

The song I think describes me the best is the song from "Requiem for a Dream" even though is about no text in it.
When I'm sad maybe "Everybody hurts" with R.E.M and when I'm angry I belive it's "B*tch" with Meredith Brooks.

Hmmm...Maybe "Worth It All" by Michael W. Smith...or "Chap Sticks, Chapped Lips, and Things Like Chemistry" by Relient K, but only because I have no idea what that song is about...Another one would definitely be "College Kids," also by Relient K.

I took this questionnaire too, and my theme song turned out to Criss Angel's "Rubber Room". I've never heard it, but I'd like to. Anyone else got this song? If so, how is it? I'm dying to know

I gave this a lot of thought and went with Sarah Mc Lachlan's full of grace......here's a piece of the lyrics......

the winter here's cold, and bitter
it has chilled us to the bone
we havn't seen the sun for weeks
to long, to far from home
it feels just like I'm sinking
and I claw for solid ground
I'm pulled down by the undertow
never thought I could feel so low
and oh darkness! I feel like letting go
If all of the strenght and all of the courage
come and lift me from this place
I know I can love much better than this
full of grace
full of grace
my love

yes, it fits the depression that is tearing me apart perfectly

*Gives we_ wants a hug and everyone else feeling down* I used to feel like that too until someone came along and changed the way i saw things. I'm feelin a crap tonight if that makes ya feel any better, everyone seems to be havin a good time but me, every friend ive called is out doing something, now even my parents have gone down the pub! Pfeh typical, i'm stuck here drinkin with my dog and she's not funny! *sigh* ah well *turns music up to annoy ppl next door havin a bbq* hehehe

Ok, so this song is me: Sheryl Crow 'Soak up the Sun':
[Chorus]
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Gonna tell everyone to lighten up
Gonna tell 'em I got no-one to blame
Everytime i feel lame I'm looking up
I'm gonna soak up the sun

My friend the communist holds meetings in his RV
I can't afford his gas so I'm stuck here watching tv
I don't have digital, i don't have diddley squat
Its not having what you want, its wanting what you got

I got a crummy job it don't pay near enough
To buy the things it takes to win me some of your love
Everytime i turn around, Im looking up, your looking down
Maybe somethings wrong with you that makes you act the way you do.

I'm gonna soak up the sun
While it's still free
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Before it goes out on me
Don't have no master suite
I'm still the king of me
You have a fancy ride, but baby
I'm the one who has the key

Every time I turn around
I'm looking up, you're looking down
Maybe something's wrong with you
That makes you act the way you do
Maybe I am crazy too

I'm gonna soak up the sun
Got my 45 on
So I can rock on

Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow,
Bright blue his jacket is and his boots are yellow.
None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master;
His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.

Which Tom Bombadil song are you most likely to sing?

Odd...I was just thinking as I walked into the office this morning that my theme song or nickname could be "Dizzy". Can't remember who did it but my dad always called me a dizzy blonde and since I'm still blonde it could work.

mines another Linkin Park song "Lying From You"

When I pretend
Everything is what I want it to be
I look exactly like what you had always wanted to see
When I pretend
I can forget about the criminal I am
Stealing second after second just cause I know I can /but
I cant pretent this is the way it will stay / I'm just
Trying to bend the truth
I cant pretend I'm who you want me to be
So I'm
Lying my way from you
[no/ no turning back now]
I wanna be pushed aside
So let me go
[no/ no turning back now]
Let me take back my life
I'd rather be all alone
[no turning back now]
Anywhere on my own
Cause I can see
[no/ no turning back now]
The very worst part of you
Is me

I remember what the taught to me
Remember condesending talk of who I ought to be
Remeber listening to all of that and this again
So I pretended up a person who was fitting in
And now think this person really is me and I'm
[trying to bend the truth]
But the more I push the more I'm pulling away
Cause I'm
Lying my way from you
[no/ no turning back now]
I wanna be pushed aside
So let me go
[no/ no turning back now]
Let me take back my life
I'd rather be all alone
[no turning back now]
Anywhere on my own
Cause I can see
[no/ no turning back now]
The very worst part of you
Is me

This isnt what I wanted to be
I never thought that what I said
Would have you running from me
Like this
The very worst part of you
The very worst part of you
Is me

believe me...a lotta songs describe me.... but "Wake Up" by three dyas grace and "These WAlls" by trapt are the few ones that describe me....

"These Walls" by Trapt

Something missing, left behind
Search in circles everytime I try
I've been here before
I've seen you before

I can't escape walking down these halls
Hard to find a place where there are no walls
And no lines begging me to cross
Only straight ahead, better move along

Like clockwork, I commit the crime
I pretend to be everything they like
I've been here before
I've seen you before

I can't escape walking down these halls
Hard to find a place where there are no walls
And no lines begging me to cross
Only straight ahead, better move along

And I trade everything for this
And I trade everything for this
Why do I read the writing on the wall?
Why do I read the writing on the wall?

I don't wanna lose my place in line
I've been here too long
And I've spent too much time
I don't wanna lose my place in line
I've been here too long
And I've spent too much time

Something missing, left behind
Search in circles everytime I try
I've been here before
I've seen you before

I can't escape walking down these halls
Hard to find a place where there are no walls
And no lines begging me to cross
Only straight ahead, better move along

And I trade everything for this
And I trade everything for this
Why do I read the writing on the wall?
Why do I read the writing on the wall?
Why do I read the writing on the wall?
Why do I read the writing on the wall?

My Self can be captured by Loreena McKennitt's DANTE'S PRAYER (about finding your own spiritual path, not the one defined by "the priests of pride". Of not being deserted by the Divine even when I seemed confused - feeling its presence in the stars

Chorus:
"Cast your eyes to the ocean,
Cast your soul to the sea,
When the dark night seems empty, you'll remember me."

BTW, I also love the LUMBERJACK SONG (pippinscarf) and Dido (Lady-of-the-Shield) but my favourite is LIFE FOR RENT

"If my life is for rent and I don't want to buy,
I deserve nothing more than I get.
'Cause nothing I have is truly mine.........."

Keep on singin'...................

Neenime

"May It Be" by Enya always give me hope...
But song about me is "You Don't See Me" by Josie And The Pussycats

This is the place where I sit
This is the part where I love you too much
Is this as hard as it gets?
'Cause I'm getting tired
Of pretending I'm tough
I'm here if you want me
I'm yours,you can hold me
I'm empty and taken and tumbling and breakin'

Refrain:
'Cause you don't see me
And you don't need me
And you don't love me
The way I wish you would
The way I know you could

I dream of worlds where you'd understand
And I dream a million sleepless nights
I dream of fire when you're touching my hand
But it twists into smoke when I turn on the light
I'm speechless and faded
It's too complicated
Is this how the book ends,
Nothing but good friends?

(Refrain)

This is the place in my heart
This is the place where I'm falling apart
Isn't this just where we met?
And is this the last chance that I'll ever get?
I wish I was lonely
Instead of just only
Crystal and see-through
And not enough to you

Refrain:
'Cause you don't see me
And you don't need me
And you don't love me
The way I wish you would
(bis)

The way I know you could

Well, the song that describes me the most isn't really a song, but more of an orchestration. It is Enya's "Lothlorien." The music is so gorgeous and seems to move me even with no words. Seeing as I don't talk much, I thought it would fit me good.

Actually, going way back into ancient history (the 1960's) Simon and Garfunkle's THE BOXER always touched my heart. It speaks to that part of me that has tried and tried and feels that I can't make things work out right. Fortunately, I don't feel that way often, but it is part of how we all experience the world at times.

Sting - Fragile

If blood will flow when fresh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are
How fragile we are how fragile we are

Batânraktûk How could I forget that one? I play it over & over and over! Even more "me" are the early verses of " Mad About You" by Sting

" A stone's throw from Jerusalem,
I walked a lonely mile in the moonlight.
And though a million starts were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in arc of sadness
I'm lost without you, I'm lost without you.
And all my kingdoms turn to sand and fall into the sea, I'm mad about you, mad about you.

In a dark secluded valley,
I heard the ancient songs of sadness
And every step I thought of you, every footstep only you
Every star a grain of sand
The leavings of a dried up ocean
Tell me how much longer, how much longer.

I see a city in the desert lies,
The vanity of ancient king
The city lies in broken pieces
Where the wind howls and the vultures sing
These are the works of man
This is the sum of our ambition.............."

(the rest of the song is not so much me, but I really resonate with the desolation and yearning in these early words).
If you haven't already guessed I am prone to the darkness and brooding for which Slavs are known. *sigh*)
