Hugs to everyone here and especially those who have been having a hard time and those of you who have lost a pet.I agree with Belle about not giving up on the animals that give us so much love. When you can go get another cat. There are so many around that need good homes. My mother-in-law was put in a nursing homes and we have discovered she had 9 cats. I took a Persian calico but she has two calico Manx that are just gorgeous. I wish I lived closer I would give you one as a gift.

Same to you all. I didn't get a Valentine, but that's okay. I gave hubby a present for the day and it's not in expectation of receiving that I gave it. Big hugs to you all.

also a (thoroughly belated) happy valentine's day to all i didn't get a valentine either, but i did get kissed by a really cute girl at a party, for the first time ever, WOOT! go me! *does happy dance* actually i think she was REALLY drunk. does that count?

awwww! thankies Cirdaneth! i was just about to come here 'cause i was feeling blue about failing my chemistry exam, and now i can't go on vacation with my family because i have to resit it . But i feel all better now, so thanks for the hug!

hi. it's me again, but this time i come on behalf of another, my best friend. he's not a member here (in fact i doubt he even knows this place exists) but he just got some really bad news. apparently his dad was killed in iraq a few days ago. i think he'd feel lots better if we were all thinking about him

Oh my goodness! I can scarcely imagine the shock and grief. My thoughts are with your friend and all his family. hugs are pretty inadequate in the circumstances but it's the best we can do.:hug:

I did, Micha That's why I started a Hug Thread on Nienna. Fosh was a Niennite way back then and had forgotten that she and her friend had started this one.Lol

Hugs to all who need them, for whatever reason. A hug is for life, not just when you need one. :hug:

Thanks Rose! I knew this thread was around somewhere.

I've posted to the new "support" thread but wondered why we needed a new separate one when we have this.

Maybe ClumsyElf and Gondolinian would like to use this thread instead and we can all hug together. :hug: :hug: YAY!
