Here are the ones i remember,some might be wrong or have missing words:

Aragorn: For Frodo

Gimli: That still counts as one!

Sam: Dont go where I cant follow

Pippin(to Merry): Ill look after you

There were no words, but when Arwen and Aragorn meet at his crowning

Gandalf: Its best you say nothing at all

Gandalf: Hobbits

Gollum: Fat hobbit

Aragorns speech

Theodens speech

Pippin and Aragorns songs

Arwen: It is time

Arwens little speech thing when she walks up to Narsil

uh...i cant think!

Elrond: Nothing is certain

Theodens last word

Sam: Do you remember the taste of strawberries Mr. Frodo

Pippin: The eagles are coming!

All the Nazgul sounds, i love that sound

Frodo: Go home Sam
That was really really sad, but i liked the line.

Sauron: Aragorn (and something else)

wow, i cant think of anymore, i like every word...

just to add it...
Jack: Why is the rum gone?
Will: That was for the smell

Anyway, my favorite quotes would be:

I loved all the lines you wrote! I adored the whole movie that I cried actually

ass an addition I also liked :
Gandalf to Shadowfax: Shadowfax, show us the meaning of haste.
also Elrond's speech when he gives Aragorn Anduril.

I loved it what Sam said to Frodo when he thought he was dead: Don't go where I can't follow.

Also I loved when all of the beacons were lit and Aragorn noticed one burning:
Aragorn: Gondor calls for aid!
Theoden: And Rohan shall answer!

At the Black Gate:
Aragorn: For Frodo!

In Cirith Ungol:
Sam: This is for Frodo! This is for the Shire! And this is for my old Gaffer! :heart:

also
-Faramir "You wish then, that our places has been exchanged. That I had died, and Boromir had lived" Sooo sad. I really wanted to hurt Denethor then
-Pippin "Denethor has gone mad. He's burning Faramir alive" and to go with that "He's not dead!"
-Arwen quoting Bilbo's poem about Aragorn
-Elrond and Aragorn "I give hope to men." "I keep none for myself." I wonder if anyone who hasn't read the books understood that? They wouldn't know about Aragorn's mother.

That's all I can think of. The whole movie was WONDERFUL!

"courage Merry, for our friends"... it just kills me, that quote is what LOTR is about to me, what you are willing to fight for.

This is what makes this whole story so wonderfully amazingly beautiful.

Oh, yes, and a noteworthy line, if not a favourite quote, would be, "Ah! A diversion!" lol

These are some favorites of mine. Or, at least as close as my memory can relate.

Favorite lines from Aragorn:

(In Elvish) “I have kept no hope for myself”

(To the king of the dead) “You will suffer me!”

“Not for ourselves, but we can give Frodo his chance”

His “ . . . this day we fight” speech

“For Frodo”

“My friends, you bow to know one”


Favorite lines from Gimli:

(to Legolas)”Aye, I could do that”

“Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?”


Favorite line from Eowyn:

"courage Merry, for our friends (Yes, definitely what LOTR is about)

These only scratch the surface of my favorite lines. Will likely add more as they come to me. Thank you for letting me add my two cents

This is my favourite scene between Gandalf and Pippin;

Ah.... Did you notice how they kind of smiled slightly after this exchange? It hit me that Pippin, who is always getting called "Fool of a Took", accomplishes so much in the last film, fighting for his friends, saving Faramir, lighting the beacon... I loved the fact that Gandalf subtley reverses his bleak comment and actually makes it a statement of hope.

Also loved....

"I do not doubt his heart - only the reach of his arm."

"Hail the Victorious Dead." (gave me shivers)

"If I ever got married, it would have been her. It would have been her." :cry:

"Welcome my lords... to Isengard!" Hurrah for drunken hobbits!

"But the only brew for the brave and truuuuuuuue..." Again, hurrah for drunken hobbits.

"Stand and fight, Men of the West!" I loved the whole speech, but the last line, "Men of the West!" was electrifying.

"If we're careful, we'll have enough left." "For what?" "For the journey home."

Well spotted! I like it when they use bits from the books, even out of context!

I actually learned Théoden's speech from the book by heart before seeing the movie for the second time so I could compare, they've used bit and pieces here and there. I especially love this line:
"A sword day, a red day, ere the sun rises"

"Hail the Victorious Dead." (gave me shivers)

Did you see the look on Aragorn's face before he drinks his cup? My heart skipped a beat there!

And Gandalf to Shadowfax "show us the meaning of haste" that's part of what he tells to Ioreth in the house of healing (I should know that!)

They missed a nice opportunity with Gimli, I always laugh when I'm reading this line in the book:
"Indeed sooner would I bear a horse than be borne by one..."!

That was the best part in the whole movie, and my favorite lines! :love: So powerful.

I wanted to give Faramir a biiiiig hug and smack Denethor reeeally hard.

"For Frodo" -Aragorn. I was ready to charge out there with him!

"Well, I'm back." -Sam. Couldn't have ended any better. :cry:

Oooooooooh, I agree with all your quotes. In fact, in spite of having many fight scenes, I thought that this movie had the best lines of all three.
I missed a few, though (well, perhaps they are written down already, but I might have overread them):

Pippin to Gandalf, in Minas Tirith: "We have the White Wizard. That has to count for something" and then the look on his face. Great.

Elrond to Arwen: "Your hands are cold. The light (or life?) of the Eldar is leaving you". Arwen: "It was my choice" (followed by some lines in Sindarin). I mourned together with Elrond:cry:.

Legolas, just before they enter the Dunharrow: "The way is shut. It is made by those who are dead. The way is shut". And then Aragorn: "I do not fear dead" and 'simply' walks into the gate.

Théoden's line when he sees Éowyn mourn for a lost vision of love: "I would like to see you smile again." and "You shall live to see these days renewed" (or something like that). That was when I started to love the movie-based character of Théoden.

In Shelob's lair, when Frodo by accidents touches some of the spiderweb:
Frodo:"It is sticky, what is it?"
Gollum/Sméagol: "You will see, you will see".

Frodo: "I can see the Shire Sam. The Brandywine River, Bag End, Gandalfs firework, the lights in the party tree". So... innocent, so sad.

Of all the inquisitive hobbits Peregrin Took, you are the worst.

Merry's impatience/frustration - Why do you always have to look?!

Gandalf telling Pippin what not to say, and then saying it would be better if he didn't talk at all.

Also, Gandalf saying "You're in the service of the king now - you'll have to do as you're told".

And I love the way he added in a kind of sarcastic way "Guard of the citadel indeed" and then when Pippin killed the orc which saved Gandalf's life, he said the same line but with a totally different meaning.

Faramir asking his father to think better of him if he returned. And when Denethor agreed that he'd have preferred it if Faramir had died instead of Boromir - I didn't like that line, but it was a good dramatic moment, and Faramir's reaction was heart-breaking.

Aragorn "Gondor calls for aid".

Gollum - the way he said that Sam told "So many lies", and "What has Smeagol ever done to him?"

Sam - "Let's be rid of it!"

Aragorn - "For Frodo".

And of course, Aragorn's Henry V speech!

Loads more which don't come to mind right now.

Honestly there are just so many good ones! Obviously I love Theoden's speech, since it's in my sig, but I love the lines spoken between Gimli and Legolas, or the Gollum/Smeagol stuff, Merry and Pippin...there are just too many good lines! lol :love: :love: :love: :love:
Honestly, and minuial_gil_estel will verify this (lol), Theoden's speech is just so powerful that I actually say it along with him and shout (well, okay maybe not shout...but still) death along with him. I am pointing my sword, no matter how invisible it may be (lol), and shouting (or maybe more like speaking lol) the entire way through the speech... :blush: :blush: Actually, I think last night I was a bit louder than the other nights...lol...not too loud though...wanna let others enjoy the movie :blush: :blush:
