Online, they've annouced that they were filiming the Centuars and Grawp. After this, it was also said that the Harry-Cho kiss had been done.

But they still haven't confirmed anything about Oldman coming back for 'Order'.

However, some good news is that they've cast Piers Polkiss and the Dursleys are coming back, so that it's assumed the dementor thing will happen. And Percy will be returning to this film.

Oh you mean in the next film! I thought you meant GoF
I really do hope Oldman comes back. I can't stand it when they change actors in a series such as this.

Ah. Yes, confusing when different movies are talked about.

And I liked him as Sirius, anyway. I hope the Lupin guy shaves off his mustache. It bugged me. A lot.

I think he's in it!:disco: You could read the last negotiations here.

It's good to see Grawp, since I love monsters.

Anyway, I don't see chances Dobby would come back. Maybe he will in the sixth film. I had hope that Kreacher will come because he has important role when Harry asked him where Sirius is, but obviously, they could change the script.

Lupin? The mustache for me's fine. The young Lily is beautiful although you're right, she has to make her hair longer. Young James, I'm not a bit confident about this, well, let's just see.
Me too, I do want to see who the young Snape, Lupin and SIRIUS would be!:rolling:

I don't know if this has been posted yet but:

Luna, Tonks, Umbridge, Mrs Figg and Bellatrix have been cast!

Tonks: Natalia Tena

Umbridge: Imelda Staunton

Mrs Figg: Kathryn Hunter

Bellatrix: Helen McCrory

It's strange, none of them are very well know actress'. They have tended to cast well known or at least fairly well known people in roles before now.

A lot of them are Shakespear people, I believe. At least Imelda S.

But I think it'll be good.

Yes. It is kind of different.

But then again, it's probably better this way because like Eljiah Wood is now Frodo for some people, Evanna Lynch will be Luna Lovegood and so on and so forth.

So true.

And now they'll be famous, at least for awhile.

According to the Jamie Waylett, who plays Crabbe, Imedla S. is fabulous.

And Oldman is back for Black!

Ok, everybody who is a mugglenet lover, you HAVE to go to these two sites:

www.mugglenet.com

www.mugglecom.net

Don't worry! What you are seeing is not reality! Soon...hopefully after a few minutes...or seconds....or par-seconds....you'll get over the shock...as I did (thank goodness). They totally redid each site for April Fool's Day!! It's hilarious. I actually fell for it for the first couple of seconds. Emerson should be proud....

There are many similarities in many different books. Do you know why? Because everything has been done before. Hardly anything is original.

There's a thread somewhere on this subject. You might want to find it and read through the posts there. It's probably here or in the Books forum.

 I can't spell today.

Similarities are different from copies of the orginial story.

The only thing I see that someone could say as a total copy off Lord of the Rings is The Cave chapter in The Half-Blood Prince, the characters of Gandalf and Dumbledore (though they are different), an a couple of other things. And as for Narnia, all I really see is a seven book series.

I personally like all three of them (Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter) and think each author brought something fresh and wonderful to the fantasy genre.

On a different note...

Does anyone listen to the podcasts for Harry Potter like MuggleCast or PotterCast?

Failie: No....er....what is it? Is it like an online radio?

Beinhiril: That's cute, now I suggest you look at the different plotlines, and then what Tolkien stole, and then and the similarities and all the other places you see them (e.g magical jewerally, I think I can role of 10 books/tv programmes/graphic novels off the top of my head which have magical jewerally in it). You comment was unnessicary (sp?). I believe you will find the right thread somewhere in that direction *points to book forum*.

A PodCast is sort of an online radio. On iTunes they have a section totally dedicated to them, where users can download any amount of podcasts onto their computer for free.

MuggleCast comes from MuggleNet and revolves around a chapter by chapter discussion, among other things. It's really quite entertaining.

PotterCast comes from The Leaky Cauldron and talks about Harry Potter news, has interviews from people like Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom in the films), and discusses a specific topic every week.

I really enjoy them and they've given me ideas for theories.

And they are so, so, sadly addicting.

The movie is now set to come out July 13th, according to Warner Brothers. What do you think this will do for the seventh book, as speculation release dates were around the summer.

Didn't JKR say it would be at least 2 years until the 7th book was released? Personally I can see it being longer, what with the movies and this being the final edition. No doubt people wold want to string the whole thing out for as long as possible.

I don't think so. She might have, but for the life of me can't figure out what interview she said it in. All we've really heard, that I remember, is that it's 'coming a long nicely' and might be longer than Order of the Phoneix.

So, I now guess we can say it'll probably come out late 2007 to late 2008. Probably July 2008, if it follows in Half-Blood Prince's footsteps.

I've heard of some other ones, but I'm not sure if they're good or not. Has anyone heard of some other good ones?

Also, has anyone taken the WOMBATS? I didn't get a chance too.

I don't know much about them because I missed it, but it was something on JKR's website. I just know it was some kind of test for fans: Wizards Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Test.
