(OoC:Yes, I know Arwen. But how can we bring someone new into the story? Sorry for asking, but this my first RPG, so I don't know how I can announce that we have an open role. I was thinking of changing the name of the thread, so that people would know. Any suggestions much appreciated. )

Thara laughed. She didn't quite know if she laughed because of Aregwyn's joke about their brother or because she felt relieved that her sister had nothing against her loving Gil.

"I'm so glad you understand..!" she said to Aregwyn.

She watched her with a wide smile on her face. But she couldn't help noticing that Aregwyn's face was clouded with sadness.

"Aregwyn, what's wrong?" she asked, seriously, her smile fading from her face.

Aregwyn smiled down at them both, "Of course I understand, Thara... even I know how it feels to love someone." She sighed slightly and her face sadened slightly and though she tried not to show it, her sister still managed to notice. "Nothing's wrong Thara... well nothing that you should worry about." She said with a firm nod and she bit her lip, "It's just that- oh nevermind..." She said finally, turning away and then looking around. She turned back to them, her hands on her hips, "Where is Advad?" She asked, "He's not here..."

Thara understood that Aregwyn's sadness was a private subject. She decided not to talk about it anymore.

"I'm not sure where he is...Maybe he got lost." she said looking around, as if expecting Advad to show up any moment. She then looked at the horses. There were only two of them. She remebered her horse was with Advad.

"Ooo...my horse! I lost my horse! He was with Advad. What am I going to do?" she said, looking alarmed at Gil and her sister.

Gilinath had stayed quiet up until the relization that Thara's horse was with Avad.He had remained silent because he knew it was a sister thing. He was a little worried at first that Aregwyn might try and pull a sword on him... he did not really know her as well as he knew Thara and he hadn't kept his sword with him...it was with his horse. Horse! he finally found his voice to say, "You can ride with me on mine if you want to." He smiled.

"Thanks Gil! I knew I could count on you. So it is settled then, I ride with you. Unless sis has other plans..." she said looking at Aregwyn.

She knew that Aregwyn will have nothing against her riding with Gilinath. She just hoped they will be off soon. Her parents must have read the letter by now, and they have probably sent search teams all over Middle Earth. If they were found, that would have been the end of their adventure.

Ari, had followed them for a time, and in turn following Advad after he had been seperated from the group and sending him back towards home, telling him that she had seen them. She was not sure why she had done that, but she thought it would be for the best.

The group ahead had stopped because it seemed there were not enough horses to go around. They had been so busy with that that they had not noticed the young lady approach. Ari knew very well who the two sisters were but not the man that accompanied them.

"Ho there!" she called in the distance, causing the three of them to turn in surprise

"My lord, my ladies" she said curtiously

"I have to warn you for many people are looking for you, hoping to escort you two sisters back to your father in hope of a reward" she added, her green eyes glistening innocently.

"No... that's fine." She said, looking down at her sister with a smile. "We had better get going though. I do not think it wise to stay long in a certain place. Who knows what mother and father will have done once they found the letter. I only hope they will try to understand." She said with a slight sigh.

"Ho there!" A voice called and Aregwyn turned round quickly in surprise.

"My lord, my ladies, I have to warn you for many people are looking for you, hoping to escort you two sisters back to your father in hope of a reward" she added, her green eyes glistening innocently.

"Really?!" She asked, surprised, "People are already looking for us?" She gasped, "I never would have thought... I mean I knew father would be a bit shocked and confused... and probably angry but..." She shook her head and looked at the person, "Are you one of those people hoping to turn us in?" She asked suspiciously.

"I wish to ask you something...even though I feel unworthy of your company, would you allow me to accompany you to wherever your going?" she asked

"I can help, I can defend myself...and help you sleep with the playing of my harp?"

She looked at the three of them pleadingly, hoping they would say yes.

Thara watched as her sister talked with the new comer. She didn't know if Ari could be trusted. And the thing she said, that some people wanted to steal something from her...Thara wondered what was it all about. She was about to ask her about it, but she remebered that it wouldn't have been polite to ask such a question, as her parents always said. Anyway, Aregwyn had to make a decision soon. If people were truly searching for them, they would arrive there in no time. She watched her sister anxiously, waiting for her answer.

The girl, Ari, had not regognized him which was good. Gilinath watched intently as the newcomer exchanged pelsentries with Argwyen... he had stopped paying attention to the rest of the group and started thinking about Thara... Thara and the kiss...

Aregwyn raised an eyebrow slightly and looked at the woman before her. She paused and looked hesitantly down at her sister, as if seeing if she could trust her too. "Of course you may accompany us, though if we do not wish to be caught straight away, we need to get going." She said firmly, turning to her horse and patting it gently on the head, "Is everyone ready then?" She asked. "Ah... forgive me," She said, turning back to Ari, "Do you have a horse?" She asked.

Gilinsth stood and started throwing dirt on their little fire. then he walked over to his horse. He climbed up and offered Thara a hand up.

"Yes, of course i have a horse" said Âri as her white stallion Erdinlas trotted behind her.

"Indeed, let us get going"

They all galloped off imediately, taking no chances for someone to follow them. Âri was glad that they had let her join them and followed them blindly even though she did not know where they were going.

(OoC: Thanks for the info, Larsil. I wasn't sure if she was a human or an elf! )

Thara let Gilinath help her on his horse. She gripped tight around his waist, not wanting to fall off again.

All the horses took off fast. Although Thara was now a little frightened of speed, she knew they had to ride fast, or those people would catch them and turn them in.

"So, how long till we reach Lorien? Anyway, you'll love it there. You're an elf, so it will be ideal for you. And grandma is really nice, I'm sure you'll get along just fine." she said to Gilinath.

Gilinath smiled as Thara talked to him. "I don't know how long," he managed to muster as he kept speed with Aregwyn. He hadn't heard the new girls name yet but there was time for that when they got to Lothlorien. the Lorien would should be really awsome

Aregwyn nodded at Ari's words and then untied Nessa from where she'd been shuffling about nearby and prepared her for riding, mounting her just as Gil offered Thara a hand to do the same. The princess smiled as she saw this and took the reins, holding them tightly in her hand. When they all were ready to ride she nodded and they all started, across the plains.

She urged Nessa forwards with all speed that the fine chestnut horse could muster. She looked back to check that Thara and Gil, and Ari were following her and then she sighed softly and smiled, the wind blowing her hair back and creating a refreshing breeze. Now this was where she belonged... out on the plains, riding Nessa... and this is the way she liked. She turned to Ari who was riding beside her, "We are heading for Lothlorien..." She explained to her with a smile, "To Caras Galadhon in fact, to see our great grandmother, the Lady Galadriel. We suspect... well we hope," She corrected herself, "That she will actually agree with the fact that we ran away from Minas Tirith! She's always saying we need to be more independant. Hopefully this is independant enough for her!" She joked with a smile and then she said, "So... where exactly are you from, Ari?" She asked, conversationally.

"I'm from Dol Amroth in the realm of Gondor" she answered "My home is right on the coast looking out to sea, it is such a beautiful place, but simple compared to your usual dwellings I'm sure".

Although Âri was usually confident, even over confident sometimes, she was apprehensive of going to Lothlorien. She was unfamiliar with the terriotory of the elves and so would have to rely on those in her company.

Gilinath wonder himself how long before lothlorien.... oh well, he generally, when not lead, or even when leading, liked to sit back and enjoy the ride. He would do just that, enjoy the ride.

(OoC: Hope you won't mind me advancing time a little. Let's say we arrived at Lorien, because we talked enough about the road.)

Some time had passed since they left their little camp. Thara had started wondering if they had not taken a wrong road, because they should have arrived to Lorien by now.

Just as this thoughts hit her, she noticed a dense forest in front of them. She stood straight on her horse and yelled, so that the others would hear her, although they probably noticed it too:

"Look, guys! Lorien is up ahead. We made it." she said with a smile.

Gilinath had to luagh softly as Thara did that. He couldn't help himself. She always had been an excitable one. He had noticed the wood fianlly and knew that they were almost there. "Would you sit down before you fall agian?" Gilinath said concerned.

Thara did as Gilinath told her.

"Sometimes" she said turning to Gil "you sound like my father. Don't worry, that was an accident. It won't happen again. And don't tell grandma about it. She may let us be more independent, but she treats me like a baby! She will put me in bed for a week, with all sorts of weird elven medicine!...Not that I have something with the elves!" she said hastily, remebering that Gil was an elf. She looked at him with a cute baby face, the one she put on so many times when she wanted to get out of trouble.

Gilinath couldn't help but smile at Thara. He fell for the baby face. But can you blame him, it was sooooooo cute. "Don't worry, I wasn't going to tell her anyway. I was gonna let you tell her. But if you aren't going to you better make sure your sister doesn't." Gilinath smiled.

She asked, raising an eyebrow slightly and then smiling, "Well I'm sure it is very nice anyway." She said and then suddenly heard Thara and Gil saying something to each other.

She caught something about, "Don't worry, I wasn't going to tell her anyway. I was gonna let you tell her. But if you aren't going to you better make sure your sister doesn't." Gilinath said and she moved her horse over to them, "Don't tell who about what?" She asked with an amused smile.

Gilinath looked at Thara and smiled but just kept his mouth shut. He decided that now was the time to let sisters talk. If they wanted to. He just was happy. He had just realized that until Thara got a new horse she would be riding with him and that was enough to make him smile... even though it might just be until they got to Lothlorien...

Gilinath noticed that Aregwyn wasn't really responding, so he looked at her. "Well, have you no responce?"

Aregwyn glanced at him sharply but her look soon softened and she sighed, "I guess that I should hold my tongue, then." She admitted grudgingly, "But if you feel anything at all wrong, you must tell her. Well if not grandmother at least Gilinath or I." She said and nudged her horse gently to ride faster, "Grandmother may sense something, Thara... do not forget how she can almost 'see' into your mind." She said.

As Aregwyn nudge her horse faster, Gilinath nudge his to keep pace as the sisters talked. "To that I agree, " Gilinath added after Aregwyn had mentioned Thara telling someone if she felt something wrong.

Thara frowned.

"Alright, I'll tell you. I hope grandma won't read my mind! It's going to be very hard to look at her, knowing that she will see what happened. And you two better stop babysitting me. I can take care of myself!" she said glancing at Aregwyn and Gilinath angrily.

Aregwyn glanced down at them with a smile, "Spoken like a true gentlemen." She remarked jokingly with a smile. "Right... I will not tell grandmother, but no doubt she will have her own way of knowing anyway!" She said and kicked her horse gently up, as it rode over the green grass of the edges of the forest of Lorien. "I think we should dismount and walk the rest of the way. Thara... you stay with Gilinath on the horse if you need to." She advised, pulling the reins and Nessa came to a halt. She dismounted gracefully and looked behind her. "I am sure that grandmother will already have been told of our arrival, the moment any of the guards saw our horses in the distance." She said, walking into the forest and pulling Nessa's rein gently so that the horse followed her aswell.

((Well if no one else wants to, then I could give it a shot. ))

Gilinath dismounted to lead the horse. "Thara, you stay there. Really he doesn't mind the weight and why tire yourself any worse. In fact if you wanted to you could sleep..." Gilinath said... he never had liked silence. He smiled.

Thara dismounted as well.

"I always liked walking in Lorien. I don't know why, but I never get tired, even when I cross half of the wood. And, beside this, I am a lot more rested than you are. With the accident and stuff, I slept more than any of you."

She then started admiring the wood. It was beautiful as always. She held Gilinath's hand softly and whispered:

"Sorry I got angry a while ago. I know you only want to protect me. I don't know what I would do without you either."

((So I assume we are playing this as if Galadriel never left for Valinor? And if so, then Haldir would be dead nonetheless (right?), so should the captain of the guards just be a passing character? Hope this is ok.))

Aregwyn looked at Thara and Gilinath but quickly turned away and lead Nessa on hurriedly through the woods. All around them was still...silent. Yet the princess had the feeling that they were being watched. No doubt they were... surely the elves would have spotted them from miles away and were probably tracking them down in the woods, at that very moment.

She held her hand up for silence, "Did you hear that?" She asked, turning to the group, "I do believe that we are being followed by elves." She said in a hushed tone. And sure enough, as she turned, she found herself facing the arrow of a Lothlorien bow, fitted and aimed at her. "I expect great grandmother has been expecting us?" She asked the captain of the guards who stood before her. They would recognise the princesses of Gondor, surely... wouldn't they?
