Given the difficulty with which you worked, no one would ever suspect it existed. That post was SUPER GREAT! Thank you so much for patching it together so smoothily. It's a superb post and leaves so much in the way of openings for everyone to move ahead.

Still, two minutes spent on a short note here explaining your situation would have been helpful. I know, though, that dd handled your part well and we are now on the move again.

Just a note: After this round of posts, we will be heading for Mordor to find out what's going on over there. I think we're getting close to the final battle so sharpen your swords and check the flets on your arrows.

dd...this one's for you. You are welcome to bring Baldir down. Perhaps not kill him but wound and maim him is just fine so he's finished for the foreseeable future. Have fun as Delagost. I know you've been waiting for this.

WELL DONE!!! Great post, dd. Glad you didn't kill Baldir but do you think he's down enough to remain out of everything? LOL Ah well, there are always things like infections of wounds, right (and no athelas to be found anywhere..teehee)? We'll keep him out of everything until the war is over.

But I loved your description of the battle. You've always done the battle scenes the best of all of us. Surprising for such a gentle gal. You must have a dark side we don't know about. *grinning*

Now it's "go, gwendeth" with the last of the good guys before we head for Mordor to see what's going on there.

Thank youu Well Baldir's worst wound is the stab to his side and it's pretty deep... I imagine that'll keep him out of commission for a while, plus his sword-arm's been wounded too, :evil:

Fantastic posts everyone! Question quick...I know I am up to post soon, BUT where is Rhia supposed to go from here? Does she end up with Fal? Does she participate in the war in any way, shape, or form (not physically fighting but aiding on the battleground). Does she die? Does she just fade away? I am up to any ending.

And, it would probably be better for me to do another jp since most of Rhia's line is complete. =)

As Meri is gone, we've decided to send her char Freawyn off to Rohan for the remainder of the war. And as Falithor has also been sent off to war, we decided to send Rhia along with Frea. It seems to be the best thing to do at this point as gwen, dd and I will be wrapped up in the war that finishes this thread.

Thanks though for your contribution to this thread. Hope to rp with you in some future thread. It's always fun to rp with your chars, who are always creative and interesting.

Should I maybe wait to see if Hal would like to post for his char before I go again? I only wonder, because we have two funerals going on this week at church, so my time is going to be very distracted, and i probably won't be able to start on something until Sunday afternoon.

I think sending Rhia along with Freawyn is a good idea - Dinen, I, too, look forward to RP'ing with you again.

DD, MAGNIFICENT!!!!! You always are the best at battles for sure.

I think we are going to need one more 'battle' related post each, with each of us finishing it off at the end...where we all go, how everyone ends up, what happens to the two corrupted Istari, etc., then I will write the very last closing post. But I can see so much that my chars want to add to what you posted, and I'm sure gwen does too, that it's not quite over yet. But you got us sooooooo close and did it sooooo well.
