If you mean this current year 2016 - nope.

TNP is a fan of one of the four teams still participating in this year's European Football Championships - i.e. Portugal vs. Wales, France vs. Germany, the semi-final pairings.

Too bad France and Germany are paired in the semi-finals. I would have liked them in the finals.

I'm pulling for Wales in their semi and Germany in theirs, with Wales upsetting Germany in the final game. Yeah, I know. It's not likely to happen, but I can dream, can't I?

TNP is looking forward to the Summer Olympics.

It used to be so. But with the doping recriminations flying everywhere, with Russia the current eye of the storm (why am I not surprised? But then, has anyone really tested China's athletes - or Turkey's - or ...?)

I have this vague suspicion I need to buy several new books to keep me sensibly occupied while one of the two (plus?) major sports events monopolizes TV, with the insufferably inane blather perpetrated on us by some TV talking heads (the mental diarrhea set) putrefies the airwaves.

TNP has a favorite talk show host.

I actually like documentaries on any subject, but I think I like science documentaries the most.

I like watching the track and field events if they happen to be on TV at the time, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch them.

I no longer enjoy hot weather at all, not since our severe drought of last year!
Our weather has been closing in on 30° C (or 86° F) recently outside. What has enraged me far longer is the light making sleep impossible after about 6 AM, and only then the heat after about 8 AM.

TNP lives somewhere where the "Brexit" means something.

Met is far too strong a concept if you mean having talked to one another. But in about 2000, I came across Boris Becker (Germany's first men's singles champion at Wimbledon in 1985) in the hotel we were both staying at for entirely different reasons at the time.

TNP has managed to get an autograph from a person from which getting an autograph would be a major event in their life.
