THRANDUIL: Excuse me, everyone, but I would like to invite you to join me & my people in an old Mirkwood tradition of serenading newlyweds in their honeymoon chambers. It is called shivaree. Legolas, aren't you glad I was absent for YOUR wedding??:evil: Lord Arodon, I would especially like to have your presence as the elder Eldar of the bride's people.
Also, everyone please bring any noisemakers you care to. THIS will be FUN!

NARU: *Returning after a post-massage massage with a smiling Hann right behind her and her book of Elven Fables in hand.*
POTBELLY Himself! Great to see you again! Can we drop over & say HEY? Happy anniversary!
Lord Arodon, what is a ...Christmas Wedding? Is that anything like the Yule we celebrate in the Shire??
Daisy: May, I'm surprised you are holding a book in your hand.
Sam: Daisy, she just had a baby. Can you two get along for one min.?
Tag: Really, Daisy. You and May have never gotten along but take a break.
Daisy: Whatever. May, where are you? Can we talk?
Ha ha, Daisy. When did I NOT have a book? Is that your attempt at sarcasm? Try harder next time! It's all right, Sam. What has having a baby got to do with it? Marigold, I suggest ALL us Gamgee kids grab a table and have a family conference as soon as we get back from the shivaree! We have a wedding to plan! Daisy, we can call a truce for now, can't we?

That includes YOURS, Strider.


Strider: No romantic inclinations, Gondren? You DID say that you wanted to kiss my wife! I am aware that you did not because of my intervention, but the "inclination" was there. Legolas...we must keep an eye on this one. I feel he may be hiding behind his foot-in-the-mouth disease.

*Rho hears Jeanne's call*

Rho: Coming! *sits down at the table with Jeanne and Tegol* What is the problem? Let me take a look at your list. *reads the list* Oh, this is a good start! We will need someone to cook for us, perhaps Carolin and Hal can help. Where do you want the ceremony to take place? Inside or outside? What about a dress, Jeanne! I can't help you there.

*calls to Syri*

Syri...would you happen to have another dress that Jeanne could borrow? Oh this is so exciting and ABOUT TIME, you two!!!

Tudo: *completely ignoring Thala now* Why, I would be honored. Are you ready for a "real" dance, M'Lady? *takes Sarié in his arms and circles her across the floor*

Thala: Well...Tagol, we may as well dance. *she takes his hand, careful to keep distance between them* What do you mean by that noble comment? Are you being sarcastic?

Sarié laughed as she was whisked away by Tudo. "Well, you certainly are strong! I can tell you might be a challenge for me to keep up with! But I'm certainly anticipating it! So you are Rho's brother, hm? I don't know too much about anyone here as yet, but from what I can see, she has some fire in her! Not your typical girl at all. But then...neither am I." She gave him a devious grin.

**GONDREN watches Syri exit the area, package in hand.** "Done better" myself.... right.... **Strider distracts him from Syri.** Come on, Strider! That thing about kissing Rho was part of a dare SHE made! I just answered truthfully that I thought she was likely the most passionate woman in the room. Given her performances here, can you deny that she is a very passionate woman - especially in battle? I'm beginning to think the best reason for me to get married is to escape the heat of such suspicions! ... Now about the drink of WCL, gentlemen???

**TAGOL bows to Sarié, giving her hand the lightest kiss before letting go. He turns to Thala.** Well... Thala, thank you for the honor.

Lorien: Will, I would love to help plan out the double wedding, that is, if you'll have me. Jeanne, I have several dresses you may borrow; its not as if I will be able to wear them anytime soon.

Haldir: Duncan, count us in for the next hand.

Orophin: Same for us, Dunc, and thank you, Carolin, for the compliment. I couldn't be a happier elf at the moment with Anira in my life now.

Lorien: Aunt Syri, of course you would be invited along for the girls' night out. I meant no ill will by not addressing you specifically....you seemed a bit preoccupied anyway. However, that time will not be for quite a while.

Haldir: Aahh, Lord Thranduil, a shivaree sounds like a fantastic tradition....*whispers to Lorien* Thank goodness he wasn't around after our wedding as well.

*Outside, Rumil stirs a bit, then seeing Eden's sleeping figure, smiles and kisses the point of her ear softly. He pulls her closer to him and falls back into a pleasant slumber.*

Thala: Well...if you must know, first you inturrupted and then you ignored me. But I'm willing to forgive and start over with a clean slate. And thank you for the compliment. *she relaxes a bit and closes the distance between them*

Rho: *yelling* Gondren! You better check yourself before I wreck you, pal! That was NOT a dare, it was a truth...get it straight before you lose a limb! :angry: You wanna be startin' somethin' with ME Gondren? Huh? *gets up and does some karate moves and kicks in his direction* HA! Didn't think so. Look at him flinch, goldy! HE KNOWS not to mess with the wrecking crew! :evil:

Strider: *laughs and shakes his head* Yes, she is very passionate, Gondren - among other things.

Tudo: Sarié, my sister is not typical at all, but then again, neither am I. You are impressed with my bulging muscles, are you? Well, that's to be expected. Go ahead, you can squeeze my bum if you like, it's made of steel!!! I am the iron man! Oh how I do love a challenge, my dear. I am impressed that YOU are not typical! If you can keep up with me there is no telling where this will go! *twirls her around and laughs*

Eowyn:**listens to King Thranduil** Ohhhh, that sounds like fun! Lets get pots and pans to bang on...that will make alot of noise.

Faramir:**Fills Haldirs glass** Drink up, my friend. Once the baby comes there won't be many nights like this for you. I don't think Eomer and Cele will be down for a while....she's going to crash and burn....:evil:

Eowyn: Now, Faramir...Cele was just having fun...Although she is going to pay for it in the morning, poor thing. Count Faramir and myself in for the next hand of cards after we get done with the newlyweds....Carolin gets to shuffle and deal the cards this time. **watches her gulp the Rohan ale** Ohhh, Duncan...the way she is downing that stuff...you may be carrying her out of here too...:evil:

**Anira thanks Carolin and excuses herself. She wanders into the kitchen to find something to eat. Smiling to herself she finds a basket of apples. Grabbing some she heads back to the kitchen door**

Carolin: I can't wait to cook for your wedding! Let me know what you would like, if Hal's Dad is still here, maybe he'll make his famous mushrooms! *jabbers at Duncan non-stop as they walk out the door.* Wouldn't that be something Dunc? The same kitchen as the famous Griffo Grubb? it would really be something......*keeps blabbering on about the mushrooms, and the weddings.*

Duncan: *grabs her arm and stops her* Shhhh.....isn't a shivaree supposed to be a surprise? Quiet down, Carrie!

Carolin: Sorry. *tries to hold in her giggles, has a hard time keeping them in.* Really sorry, Dunc. *giggles again*

Duncan: Oh that's it, there is no way we can do this. *takes her arm and pulls her back into the pub.*

Carolin: Duncan, I want to go outside.....Duncie, come on, I'll be quiet. *starts laughing* I just gotta rest awhile. *plops down on the floor*

Duncan: Oh no you don't. *tries to pick her up*

*Pippin comes over*

Pippin: Did the ale get to her too? tsk, tsk, tsk, Carolin! *helps pick her up, they get her to a standing position, walk her over to a chair, and set her down.* Okay, let's go to the shivaree, Dunc.:evil:

Duncan: *glancing back at the snoozing Carolin* Yeah, let's go!:evil:

THRANDUIL: Quiet now, everyone. We must not disturb the newlyweds.... until the proper time! Let us proceed! *The King of Mirkwood leads the Pub patrons out the door and up the rise to the Wedding Tree, where Rumil and Eden have adjourned for their honeymoon. When all are silently assembled under the tree, Thran signals for the "music" to begin. His entourage begins with a horrid off-key song in Old Sindarin..."

*Eden sighs with contentment not really awake, snuggling up to the warmth of her husband, her head in the curve of his shoulder. THEN the cacophany from below startles her awake!!*
== EDEN: What in the name of the Blessed Realm???? Who dares??? *She peeks over the edge of the flet, seeing a massive assembly, and flops over on her back, staring into the branches above in disbelief.*
EVERYONE dares! Rumil... what IS this????

Rho: Sorry Jeanne...let me go into the kitchen and check on the supplies I will need for the cake.

*Rho walks backward while talking to Jeanne and bumps into Anira. Accidently tripping Anira, Rho loses her footing and falls backward through the doors of the kitchen. Tudo spot's Anira falling and rushes over to her, catching her before she hits the ground*

Tudo: Are you alright, my lady?

*Suddenly realizing how close he is to her, he catches his breath and listens to the sound of her heart beating next to his chest. His breath is hot on her lips, they were so close to his. He lingers there for a moment, looking into her eyes*

Tudo: Forgive me...hold onto my strong arms and allow me to help you up. You may feel them if you like...please, no need to be embarrassed...my body is a temple of brawn and you may visit that temple if you so desire. :evil:

Rho: Oh GAG! You are going to make me vomit over here, Tudo! What about helping me up while you're at it!

O Jeanne... I think I have the perfect dress for you! I will just have to make a few adjustments to it, but it will suit you perfectly

*goes to the bar and gets the Bomber Goldy prepared for her to take it upstairs with her so she can start on the dress*

Jeanne, if you could be able to come up for a moment so I can clearly see how much needs to be changed... it'll only take a minute or two.

Gon, don't drink all that WCL without me... I'll be down after this.

Tudo spot's Anira falling and rushes over to her, catching her before she hits the ground*


Eowyn: Rho! Are you ok? **sees Tudo grab Anira as she falls** Ohhhhhh wow....

**Anira drops the apples as she falls. But suddenly a pair of strong arms grab her before she hits the floor**

Anira: Ohhhhhh my....:blush: **She stared at Tudo. His face just a breath from hers** Yes, thank you...I'm fine....I...hmmmmm I.....:blush:

Eowyn: Ohhhhh what do we have here now.**Rushes over to Rho and offers her a hand** Here! Let me help you up...it looks like your brother has spotted another target, Rho.

*The shivaree commences, quite to the surprise of the honeymooners.*

Rumil: *Sits straight up on their flet, trying desperately to cover himself and Eden with one of the comforters.* What in all of Middle Earth do you people think you are doing!?!?!?! We're not properly attired under here!!! :blush::angry: Have you people completely lost your minds or are you just bored?

Haldir: *Chuckles at his brother's surprise.* Just a bit of fun, dear brother! It was King Thranduil's idea.

Orophin: *Hears Anira's scream as she is accidentally tripped by Rho. Running in to aid her, he sees her in Tudo's arms and marches up to them, fumming. :angry: * This Lady is spoken for, you conceited orc. *Takes Anira's hand and in one swift movement pulls her out of Tudo's arms and back into his own.* :angry:

*Haldir and Lorien re-enter the pub upon hearing Orophin's raised voice.*

Lorien: Orophin, I'm sure Tudo meant no harm. *Raises an eyebrow at Tudo.*

I must say, your aunt and uncle are formidable forces! Rho is so much fun, though. I can't believe how she changed when she heard how our mother treated her rotton sons. We deserved everything we got!
... Even though the music has moved outside, would you like to continue dancing here?

peony: OH HAL! I can't stand that look! You look so helpless!

Griffo: *taking pity and secretly wanted a reason to stay* Allright Hal! But ONLY til the weddign is done!

Peony: But Griffo! WE have to get back!

Griffo: Yes, well....Maybe you could go back and take fort and dodo with you..then me and Hal will stay until the wedding. Because we jsut HAVE to cook! You woudln't understand sweety!

Peony: *pouts* Fine I'll do it.....But I'm goin to get some rest then go. But you'd better watch after my little jelly bean!

Hal: :blush: MUM! ...THe rooms are over there *hal points* You can go into one that isn't allready used. I believe the 4th to the right is open....THat is one me and tay used. You can rest up there!

Duncan: Thanks, Faramir, but I think she'll be fine right there. *grins excitedly* I've never been to one of these...shivarees before! What do we do?

Pippin: *hands Duncan Sari's recorder* Shhh....I borrowed this on the way out, just make some noise on it if you can't play.:evil:

Duncan: Well....I learned a couple of tunes when I was small, the object is to make noise though, right?

*they join the group surprising the happy couple, Pippin playing his banjo, and Duncan tooting happily on the recorder.*

*inside the pub, Sari notices that Carolin is sleeping on a chair.*

Sari: Carolin! *shakes her gently* Sissy, wake up honey....come on, don't sleep here, you look silly. Where's Duncan?

Carolin: Huh! *jumps up and wipes some drool off of her face*
Uhh, oh my head! I just wanna sleep, leave me alone! *starts to put head on the table to sleep*

Sari: Let's get you upstairs. Mari! Come help me please! *Mari and Sari manage to get Carolin up the stairs, and into bed, then go back downstairs.

Mari: You know Sari, sometimes I think Duncan has no sense! You know what they say about Bracegirdles.....

Sari: :angry: Hey! Maybe they say that, but we don't say that about our family! Mari, I'm surprised at you! *greets Duncan at the door as him and Pippin return* So, Duncan, why did you leave Carrie like that? Some husband you are!:angry: *grabs the recorder out of his hand* And what are you doing with this!:angry:

Duncan: *looking ashamed*:blush: You're right, I guess. *as Sari and Mari walk away, Duncan makes a face at them behind their backs and elbows Pippin* In-laws! They nag me more than my wife! I'm glad I married her, and not Sari! I do need to go check on Carolin, though. Tell the poker players to get another dealer, Pip!

Pippin: Yup, I'll tell them. *goes up to the bar and sits down*

Rho: Oh GAG! You are going to make me vomit over here, Tudo! What about helping me up while you're at it!

(ooc: Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I plan to be on here more but I'm distracted easily.)

Merry: Pippin, you are just jelouse cause I'm getting married first. Remember after we taught Mel to fly we made a bet of which one of us was to be married first and Mel said you would caue you were better looking. Well HA to the both of you!!

Mel: I still think Pip looks better. I guess Estella didn't feel the same. I belive it was my sister who said you would be married first, Merry.

Estella: Mel, hush. Most of my life you have rubbed in my crush for Merry. :love: I guess it worked.

Merry: Ya well she knew I had a crush on you and rubbed it in the entire trip we were together.

Mel: Ya and I never told you my sister felt the same. Merry, do you remember what you said to me most of my life? And you too, Pippin. *Throws a fruit ring at them both.*

Merry: Ya we rubbed in your love for Frodo!!!

Frodo: So is that what you guys talked about till Strider caught you?

Mel: I had to do something but I was not going to let you know I was there until Strider caught me. I wasn't planning on telling you ever untill we rested and then I was going to hide! *Looks at Strider with fear.*

Fatty: Mari, we will wed when you are older. I have already talked to your family about it.

*He grabs her and pulls her closer.*

Daisy: May, Yes I was being sarcastic. I guess we can put our childhood riffs away for now. So where is this baby of yours? Marigold, Sam, come let's go sit with our sister. Marigold don't worry about the wedding stuff I'm sure Will can cover for you.

Will: Lorien, we would love your help. Will Haldir be joining us too? I think we will start writing down ideas and things to do like Jeanne is doing. Daisy, I can cover for Tag. Marigold, go be with your family. Jeanne, I would ask if you guys wanna wed with us but I think our double is already big enough let us know when you plan on wedding so we don't overlap. We plan to do this in a few days. I'd like to do this on Frodo's birthday but we can push it back.

Frodo: My birthday is coming up very soon I suggest you wait. I doubt you guys can come up with a double wedding in a few days.

Tag: I'm coming Daisy. I think we should wait till Mel's birthday. That is far away. Will, that was the first time you called me by my real name. *She grabs him and kisses him.*

*Mel looks at a calender near by then looks over at Faramir.*

Mel: Faramir, It's your birthday!!! This calls for celebration.

*Mel runs into the kitchen and bakes a quick Gondor cake. She brings it out. On it says " Happy birthday Faramir!!!!! How old are you, human?" She then hands him a card that says "I am glad we met back then. Glad to know you now. If only Boromir could be here to celebrate with us. He is here in spirit. Love ya Faramir. P.S. No Eowyn We did not hook up back then! He was not my human Haldir!"*

This Lady is spoken for, you conceited orc. *Takes Anira's hand and in one swift movement pulls her out of Tudo's arms and back into his own.*
**Anira gasped as Orophin pulled her back into his arms. His eyes glittering at Tudo. She had never seen this side of Orophin before and was quite surprised and excited by his forcefulness**

Anira: Orophin It's alright. He meant no harm. **Laying her hand on his cheek**

**Eowyn helping Rho get up off the floor held her breath waiting to see what Tudo would do**

Eowyn:**whispers to Rho** Should we break them up, Rho? Uh oh, Faramir saw it....let me stop him before he decides his sister needs to be rescued....shheeesh

**Eowyn slides around the trio and stops Faramir**

Eowyn: Let them be, love. This is something that they have to work out. You can't keep trying to protect Anira. Let it go.

Faramir: But...but...
Mel: Faramir, It's your birthday!!! This calls for celebration
Eowyn: No, love...let it go. **Hears Mels announcement** Thats right, my lord. Today is your birthday!! **hugs and kisses him** It is your DAY....we have to celebrate! I think Mel has graciously made you a special cake today.

**Eomer & Cele come back downstairs**

Eomer:**hearing Mel** Congratulations, my friend! Your getting to be quite an old man...**slaps Faramir on the back** Happy Birthday!

Cele:**holds her head** Ohhh, not so loud, pleaseeeeee. :cry:There are a host of Orc's banging their drums in my head. **Sits down at the table and covers her head**

Eowyn:**laughs and pats Cele on the head** You poor thing. We knew you would pay for it today....perhaps Lorien can help with that. Those drums banging are probably the ones outside....it seems King Thranduil and the others are giving Rumil and Eden a little show...:evil:

Cele: Ohhhhh, I wish they would stop.**peering up with one eye and see's Anira, Orophin and Tudo** What's up with them? Orophin looks like he is ready to send Tudo to the moon.

Eowyn:**also keeps an eye on them** Hmmmm well, it looks like Tudo has found another target to work his charm upon which has Orophin quite mad....he actually called him "a conceited orc".

Cele:**laughing and then groans**Oh, don't make me laugh:dizzy:. Did he really say that? What did Tudo do?

Eowyn: Don't know. Lorien and Haldir are over there now.

**Outside**

Arodon: **laughing at Rumil as he hollers down at them** Forgive us, Rumil but we just wanted to help you celebrate your new found status in life. Just a little fun. Shall we come up to sing to you both? **smiles as Vane**

Pippin: Merry, it's a fine thing that you are marrying first, I'm not quite ready yet. *glances at Sari, who is still worked up from her fight with Duncan* Thank you for the compliment, Mel, *catches the fruit ring Mel has thrown, and eats it* You know how I love to tease you, it means I care.

Sari: I hope Carolin feels better. I see that Cele has come back downstairs. She doesn't look very well though. *pulls Pippin off to the side of the group* I need a hug, Pip.

Pippin: Peregrin Took, at your service my dear. *gives her a big hug, patting her back softly*

*Mari happily listens to the other hobbits make their wedding plans, as Fatty holds her tight*

*Duncan and Carolin come downstairs, holding hands. Mel announces Faramir's birthday.*

Duncan: Just in time! Happy Birthday, Faramir! That cake looks delicious, Mel!

Carolin: Happy Birthday, Faramir! *climbs on the chair nearest him, and kisses his cheek* Cele, how are you feeling! Not too good yet? I feel great! Duncan cured me, didn't you, Dunc?:evil:

Duncan: *kisses Carolin* I'm glad that I could help, dear.:blush:

Orophin: *Momentarily melts into Anira's hand again, then continues to eye Tudo waringly. He maintains his protective grip around her waist and escorts her to the table where their family has gathered.* Happy Birthday, Faramir! Is there anything we might do for you to help celebrate this occasion? A drink perhaps?

*Tudo tackles Rho. They land hard on the floor. In the whirl of twisted body parts flying about the room, they smash into the bar, sending bottles toppling over the edge*

Thala: *laughs nervously* Oh..okay, sure, Tagol. We can keep dancing. *notices Rho and Tudo and tries to hide the horrified look on her face* Tagol? Would you care to move closer to the corner, or even into the nursery? We can hear the music better from in there.

She decided to do something about it...perhaps she could teach him some manners.** Tudo, you need to learn how to treat a lady! If you don't stop your rude attack on your sister, I'm going to have to marr that so called perfect body you're so proud of. It seems to me you need to learn some proper manners. **With that she grabbed his ear and twisted it...**
