Cute young Mr. Bloom is actually more interesting-looking in real life. He makes a fine Legolas; in the books, Legolas does much the same thing, prance around mouthing expository dialogue and having orc-killing contests with Gimli. There's a hint of passionate loyalty in movie-Legolas' fondness for Aragorn and Gimli.

I agree with this! Legolas + Orlando makes ME look twice... and it would be fun to mess up his hair and him get annoyed!

Legolas is cool, being an elf and all, but he seems not as...human? I dunno, he just doesn't seem to have very many emotions. But Faramir is amazing.

I prefer David Wenham's looks compared to Orlando Bloom's. It's both personal taste and the characters' personality, the looks being 75% of it.

Faramir is both noble and adorable. When he called out for his father (when he was in a fever), you can't help but to feel sorry for him. Legolas seems to be too... elvish (so perfect, although innately).

By the way, I haven't watched the Return of the King (only FOTR and TTT) and only have watched bits of it on youtube. Excuse the random references of the books.

Faramir. definitely

legolas is nice, but (referring to the movies) he makes some remarks which make me want to slap him or dip him into snow.

David Wenham all the way. Faramir has always been my favorite male character in LOTR ever since my dad started reading me the books when I was 6 years old. When I saw LOTR, it just confirmed it!

Faramir is a very noble handsome brave man and he shows his quality over and over again!
But I will follow Legolas wherever he'll go! I love him and I won't give up on him, never ever! He's brave and very skillfull and funny at times and he cares for those around him(and romantic on my fanfiction....).... he has all the qualities I would want from a man!

Legolas is the best!!!
