I just got spyware for the old desktop and did a sweep. 74 spyware programs with 183 traces of spyware programs. Zowie. So those are gone now and things seem to be working a bit better. Sweep every day is my motto. I hate those spyware things.

Hi! :wave: Thought I would poke my head in and say that I have read the new post.

I was awesome :disco: My compliments go out to the gang for the best post yet. There was a lot of feelings and emotions in this one. Sorry to hear that Goldie will not be with us anymore. :sob: Hope her adventures are as big as our story is going to get.

I can't wait for tomorrow's live RP. This is going to be an awesome day for us.

For those reading the RP's, keep an eye on ours. We are going to have an exciting storyline in the near future.

I will see the Gang on Sunday.

Back again, a bit jet-lagged but none the worse for wear. Rose is a fantastic hostess; can't beat a Dwarf for showing someone a good time. And can she cook or what!!!! :love: I was sorry to leave!

Unless the weather in Idaho turns to rain Gabby Harfoot's writer will be out of town on Sunday October 17. My husband has been driving spud truck and has had very little time off. He doesn't have to work tomorrow. We are going to get the heck out of town and head for the mountains before they are no good to go to anymore. The Rockies are great but if you want to go in them after the snow flies you have to have a sled. The snow is predicted soon and the hubby would like to fill his deer tag.
It will be nice to spend more than an hour together without being totally exhausted. (We usually get to see each other at the end of the day like at night.)
So if Gabby doesn't show up by 12:15 he probably won't be there. If we get back I'll pop in. the other day he had the mroning off and was back by noon so it's possible I'll return in time.
Have fun. Leave some space for Gabby.
Let's talk over future storylines together as a group so that we can spread the adventure around.

I heard from Elfstan that it had been passed to Tanzy, but I haven't edited yet and Tanzy was supposed to be posting it on the thread.

Are we still all meeting this Sunday, the 7th.

Note to Goldie: How do you think our Returning Home is going? I think that it is wonderful but it could use some news from Goldie once in a while.:heart:

I don't know about the rest of the RPers but I miss you a lot.:cry: But as with any story someone has to bow out because of circumstances.

Anyways, I thought we could use a big HI from you Goldie. Post here if you want.

Just so's I don't mess up again, can someone give me the order of editing, so I know who I should send it to after I'm done? :blush:

The evil assessment orc raised its head again last night. Another meeting. But this time we had about twice as many people show up. The Class 1's (schools that are my size ~ very very small) in our little part of Nebraska have banded together to divide and conquer. So hopefully we can get the darn things rewritten (yes, the State has put in more requirements AFTER we wrote the darn things--thank you very much, State of Nebraska) by 2006-2007. Lovely. But at least I don't have to do them all. That's a relief.

I guess that this has more to do with non-RP life than the more important RP life. I will try to keep my priorities in order from now on.

Okay, Ladies!

I have the Mega Post. I don't mean to be holding it up, but I took five LONG days and traveled to the North country to visit with Janell. Siladan and Janell completed one LIVE RP and posted it while I was there. We have another one yet to come that should go in before the Mega Post. But as you may imagine, 2300 miles in 5 days is a lot. I'm a whipped puppy. But I will do my best to move this along in the next day or two.

Will try to figure out how to post pictures to a COE website as soon as I can. We had a great time.

If I'm not mistaken we all decided on Sunday that we weren't going to post anyting about the escort leaving as we would have time for reflection along the road to Edoras and home, etc.

I forgot to mention that Gabby will be unavailable on Sunday for the MegaPost.
My daughter will be home from college. She has to work Thanksgiving Day and the day after so we are having Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. Sorry, she just got her schedule yesterday and told me last night, or I would have let everyone know sooner.
If you need to use the entire group for anything please leave Gabby's role as rather generic.

It is with deep regret that I inform you folks that my computer system at home has taken a big hit. We have been using Earthlink and we have discovered that their systems in 9 states are infected with Major problems. We have been hit. I can not access my computer. I can only get onto the site from work.

From work we are NOT allowed to us Messenger. I will not be able to get on-line on Sunday. I have a post to go in between Janell and Siladan where they talk about Janell's past and how it affected Siladan. This needs to be posted before the mega post you did two weeks ago. I currently have that mega post, which I will not add to at this point, but will forward it on to the next person. I would only ask that you not post it until I have put in the post between J and S.

I will miss participating in the RP tomorrow. I miss not being able to IM with all of you...

For the moment, leave Siladan in MT. Janell go with the company and protect them. Siladan will be alone in a day or two! She has to gather her belongings and acquire supplies for the trip and farewell her brother and the archives. Know this, Siladan is not leaving the company... You need her to protect you along the road.

Aiya!

:wave: Just to get everyone up to speed on developments. We didn't do the RP today as it was only Janell, Káin, Belle, and Elfstan. We decided that we needed more to do the RP justice. Sooooo, we collaborated and came up with this:

1. The MP should be posed ASAP.

2. Siladan can post her bit if needs be after the MP goes up. Since she's still in the City and not with the company as of yet, we figured it would work well either way.

3. The plan is to do one MP that covers the trip to Edoras and the funeral of Theoden. According to the book, it was a quiet journey, so not much needs to go in there. Then at the end of the RP we can do the preparation to leave. That way on the next RP we can be ready to head out the gates and on our way home.

4. The next meeting date is for December 5th to get things into motion. Come with ideas for where we go from here.

Interesting factiod here relating to the RP. I was discussing writing with 'voice' in my English classes (something they have a VERY difficult time doing btw) and I told them about our little adventure. One little girl asked if it was 10 pages long let. LOL Well, thinking of that, I decided to see just HOW long it is. To date ~ with no editing like changing font that's easier for these old eyes to read ~ it's 168 pages long. Zowie! So I'm going to print a few off and take them to school and have my severest critics see if they can decipher just which character I am. See if my 'voice' comes through so to speak. Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

Aiya, Fellow Travelers:
Just a synopsis of the conversation of today.

1. We're at the first encampment after leaving MT. Belle and Siladan have just arrived. Luckily for them it was right as we were making dinner. With three hungry Hobbits and a dwarf, there would be nothing left!

2. We will be getting to Rohan for the funeral posthaste. We'll see the funeral and then be on our way. Then the fun begins. We're going to go over lightly the funeral and be on to our own adventure. Tanzy does need to give the necklace back to Eowyn.

3. We will be meeting on January 2nd to do the next RP with the whole group. If you would like to do individual RPs or small group RPs, that's fine. My feeling is that the individual RPs will be around the camp as we need everyone on the trip to Edoras. What do you think?

Either way, the necklace will get back to its rightful owner.

I hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday season. It was very relaxing for me; I didn't do *one* scrap of school work. There may be hope for the work-a-holic in me yet!

Of course, today when we have a teacher workday, it's sleeting and nasty, and icy out and I have to drive 25 miles in this to get to school so I can work. Ick. :angry:

Anyhoo, I thought I'd just touch base with you all and make sure of dates and times for the next MP. Next Sunday, the 9th, right? 1 p.m. CST for me? I'm really looking forward to being together with the whole group again! Sees all of you in a week. Hugs to all of you from all of me. :hug:
