I currently have a Matrix one. Its a picture of all the Agents and a large one of Agent Smith on the right side in the background is the matrix code and it has the words "He's still only human" and "Everything that has a begining has an end" written on it.

I'll proberbly change it soon through as I've got loads of wallpapers saved to my computer and im always changing them

Veggietales, 'Minesota Cuke'.
Before that a beautiful painting by Paul Lasine of Lothlorien from lordoftherings.net. Out desktop background always changes since I share this computer with my brothers, and they don't exactly like Veggietales and LotR!

Currently at home I have the Zainab Ashlanders' Camp from Morrowind. I alternate between that, Ald Daedroth, and Elrond. At work, I have rotating nature scenes from Daily Webshots. I wanted to put up some beautiful wallpapers done by folks here, but was told by this company it was copyright infringement. Which is really sad since so many others have stuff up from LoTR. Ah well... At least I can come here and find all the beautiful pics I want of LoTR.

I change mine quite often but right now it's a picture of MotoGP's leading world champion Valentino Rossi during a race.
Before this one i had a giant wave, before that the desert and before that lots of pretty bright yellow tulips. And lots of LOTR ones too...

I made my wallpaper myself. It's with all defrent caracters from moevies: Michael Corleone (godfather) Aragorn, Max Rokatansky (mad max), blondie (the good, the B. and the U.) Jed cooper (Hang 'em high) Harry Callahan (dirty harry) Gabriel & lucifer (the prophecy) and Alex from a clockwork orange.

And my screensaver are pics from Dwight, Hartigan, marv and Jackie Boy from sin city

And I've just realised what the coolest background evah would be! Now I've changed it to this.

my desktop is currently from ROTK EE of Éowyn and Faramir at the House of Healing... *sigh* :rolleyes: I can't remember which website I found it on... don't think it was CoE... but I like it... I switch it between that and other pics I have of (usually) Arwen, or other various LOTR characters...
BTW, if anyone has or knows of any (other) good pictures of the Maia Arien (as my name would inconspiuously suggest... :rolleyes: ), please pm me to let me know... I have time constraints that do not permit me much time on these forums... :cry: I'm hoping to one day have an avatar/ wallpaper etc that reflects my name... :evil:

Time to truck this thread up from where I found it on the very last page.

I've got a picture of Haldir arriving at Helm's Deep. JUst a portrait shot centre-screen. He looks like my Dad when I was a tiny child (but not the hairstyle LOL!) Craig Parker in normal clothes doesn't look anything like, which shows how good the make-up/costume people are.

On my desktop there's Mr. Mortensen...welll, a lot of Mr Mortensens actually. I do change my wallpaper now and then, but the last times it always was from one Mr. Mortensen to the other...spooky, isn't it? I'm far too old for these things, yet I can't help fancying the guy. *sighs*

A few days ago my parents-in-law came over to visit, and Dad-in-law wanted me to help him with something on the web. So, they both tagged along into my office and saw my desktop...*blushes* It was a surreal experience!
Good thing Dad-in-law has a lingerie-ad on his desktop...so he couldn't say anything nasty!

I have an Alan Lee drawing (I think?) of the three dwarves from Children of Hurin. They are trapsing through some tall rocks with sacks (of roots I assume) slung over their shoulders.

The artist "ssilence" on DeviantART (link) has some really amazing photos — my desktop is the one called "rainy day in sunny june" (link).
Though I suppose I'll make my own wallpaper soon, one themed on Evangelion (and probably Kaworu ).

Right now its Garrett Hedlund playing Murtagh in Eragon and it says"You must protect yourself and the things you cherish no matter what the cost". But it changes with my mood and I'm thinking about changing it again...only time can tell
