I have a painfully bleak winter landscape. We're snowed in where I live, and I miss the green grass and the leaves so much. So instead of putting up a warm, summery desktop, which might make me feel overly nostalgic, I forced myself to put up the boring old winter road.

But it isn't that boring...

Maybe it's a hyper-active imagination, but sometimes it looks like there could be white ghosts hidden in the frosty mists.

I also change my desktop all the time too. I have a favourite on it at the moment which is gandalf the grey. I love the pictures of him. They are so magical and yet somehow satisfying.

I have a picture by Jenny Dolfen (also on Deviant art) called Fields of Gold. It's inspired by the song by Sting and by the story of Amarie, the beloved of Finrod Felagund who stayed behind in Aman...beautiful!

I used to have a picture of Faramir called Sleepless by Anke Eissmann.

*sigh* here's where I show how sad i am...i have Innuyasha on my background, though would love to have other anime charecters on it. I used to have a harry potter themed desktop which was great for the while it lasted.

I've got a picture of the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom (I think). It's really great. I'd insert it, but haven't figured out how.

I have a morphed picture of Aragorn and Legolas at Rivendell just before the Fellowship depart. It's morphed so they appear next to each other.

lol mine changes kinda frequently...

right now i have my own wallpaper i made (yes i make wallpapers.

) and it is a grungy looking wallpaper, with a cowboy riding a bronc, and it says, "Ride 'Em Cowboy" :love:

Um, it's a slide show of over 1,500 photos, of Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Wheel of Time, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Monty Python, and DC Comics stuff.

I've got Bilbo, one of the pics released from the Hobbit movie, plus some dwarves in the background. I'm not sure what it says about me that i know which dwarves they are, though the movie has yet to come out.
