Elladan paused in silent consideration. "I suppose where ever we wish," he smiled at her. "Do you wish to return to Mirkwood? or would Imladris suite your liking more? Ada will depart soon..." he sighed for a moment thinking back once more to his father.

" Right now, Elwyn?" Thorongil asked with a smile.
He turned to Aragorn. " I am not the right person here to command you, mylord. But perhaps we should marry as soon as arrangements have been made. "
Aragorn laughed. " Already they have been made, my friends!" He winked at Thorongil and called him by his side. Together they walked to the great window, giving out on a large balcony.

" Your..thing, " the King said softly, " has reached us a week ago. We have started preparations immediately. Technically, you can marry right now. " He put his hand on Thorongil's shoulder and gave the Ranger his most innocent look. " And it will be wonderful, " he added, then turned back to the two Elven-ladies.

Pete wandered through the corridors, not really thinking about where he was going. His head was much better as the elves at the healing wards had done an excellent job, and he had just left the others to go and look around the halls he had come to know as home so well over the past few years. But even though their beauty was immense, he could not shake the thought of the Shire from his mind.

But he was brought from his thoughts when he turned a corner to find himself directly in front of Sarac. Pete stopped, and even though the elf had apologized, he was still slightly wary of the elf. "Oh, hello!" he chirped politely, even though Sarac looked extremely angry and frustrated. He knew he should apologize too. He looked up at Sarac. "I'm sorry I kicked you- or dark you... I mean-" he frowned. This whole soul thing had completely confused him. "I'm sorry I kicked you anyway" he concluded with a little bob of a bow. "Want to go and get a drink? I know I could do with one." He waited for him to reply expectantly.

Elwyn looked to Arwen as Aragorn and Thorongil reappeared from their hushed conversation.
"What are you up to?" Elwyn asked, walking up to Thorongil and wrapping her arm under his.
"Making preparations I believe," Arwen said with a small grin.

"We will leave you both, make yourselves at home.." Aragorn said, slapping Thorongil on the back.

" Of course," Thorongil replied with a small nod from his head and a slight bow. " A King and Queen always have important things to attend to. "

Left alone now, Thorongil looked at Elwyn, silent safe for the soft echoes of the royal pair's steps. " It's close to Midsummer, " he said and caressed her hand. " Shall we go for a walk? "

Sarac smiled and ruffeled the little Hobbit's hair.
"You don't have to apologize," he said. "I deserved a lot worst than a bruise on the knee." As they walked to the kitchen he spoke with Pete.

"You know," he said. "In two and a half thousand years of life I've never once touched a drop of alchol." He sighed and stared at the barrels of grog and liquor.
"What can get me drunk in two mugs or less?"

"A walk sounds lovely," Elwyn said watching as Thorongils hand moved softly over hers. She smiled as his eyes met hers and they walked out of the sitting room together. She'd never explored the halls of the Kings home, so she really couldn't say she knew her way around.

"Lead us on my love," she said cheerily to Thorongil, leaning her head against his shoulder.

"Never touched a drop?!?" Pete gasped in utter shock. "My dear Sarac! I have no idea how you have coped all these years!" The hobbit chuckled and walked over to the numerous barrels. He examined them carefully. "Well..." he said after some consideration. "This-" he uncorked one of them and let the liquor fall into a mug "-is enough to make any man pass out. And for an elf, it should just be strong enough to give you short term memory loss... only temporary, of course" he winked. He poured himself some ale and then went over to Sarac and handed him the mug. He raised his own with a slight laugh. "To merry times in a drunken state!"

"Perhaps outside? " Thorongil asked and led fair Elwyn out of the King's hall, into the sunlit Court of the Citadel.
Six more levels of white marble were below them as they watched from the ridge. " A nice place to marry, isn't it? " he asked her, waving his fingers slowly through the raven black hair.

She nodded silently, relaxing at the touch of his fingers. He drew them slowly through her hair, sending a shiver down her spine and rising tiny goosebumps on her arms.
"It is a fine place to marry.." she finally said, looking out over the horizon. "Yet I would have settle for marraige in a barn if that is what had to be done," she smiled. "As long as it does happen, my heart will be satisfied."

" A barn, " he smiled. " Minas Tirith looks like a barn now, when Elwyn Silverleaf walks here." He turned his gaze from the Pelennor and looked into her eyes. " Nay, " he smiled, " you'll need a better place to be married to a closed and worn traveller. And I'll search the world fot such a stead. "

She smiled in return, looking deeply into his eyes then wrapping her arms around his neck she embraced him tightly. Allowing her head to rest on his chest she closed her eyes and exhaled deeply, "I never dreamed to find love like this." Lifting her head slowly she brought her hands to the back of his head, then lead his lips to hers. They met in a slow kiss which quickly took the breath from her lungs, causing it to deepen into a more passionate exchange.

The sun was setting, basking them both in a pale orange glow...yet to anyone looking from afar they would have only seen the silhouette of two lovers cloaked in black.

And Thorongil was glad to have found Elwyn. When the sun hit the water of the Anduin and turned the whole river in a deep red, he kissed her under the flowers of the white tree, with the first starts appearing as bright yellow dots in the nocturn sky.
" Will you marry me? " Thorongil asked her again with a curve around his lips.

"Yes.." she said with a grin, "I will marry you...and I will try my best to be the lover and friend that you need. That you want." She looked up at the night sky, a soft breeze blew past them sending a small bloom from the white tree down to their feet.

Thorongil fell on his knee and picked up the flower. Held it in the setting sun for a brief moment, then put it in Elwyn's hair. " I have nothing to want or wish, " he said, " you were quite perfect from the first moment I have seen you. " Kissed her again. " Keep the flower with you," he whispered after a while, " there are more to come, but this is one of the fairest. "

Elwyn felt the soft petals of the flower with her fingertips. She then cradled Thorongils face with her hand and smiled, "more to come?" She tucked a stray strand of his blonde hair behind his ear, "it seems you are full of surprises."

"No, I want to take a break from living here." Narya watched him for a second or two. "Are you alright?" she asked gently. "Your mood seems to have plummeted all of a sudden."

"It's nothing," Elladan said, making his best efforts to smile. "Just I haven't seen Ada in so long, I feel I've neglected my family. I would like to see him before he leaves these shores." He sighed softly, "but let it worry you not.."

"We'll go there." Narya said, squeezing his hand gently. "After we're married, we can go back to Imladris. You must see your father." She sighed, and ran her hand through his dark hair. "You have not neglected your family. Do not feel guilty, they understand. Indeed, it seems as if most of them have been distracted themselves."

"I suppose you are right," Elladan said, looking to the floor then back to Narya. He placed his hand on hers as it ran through his hair, pulling it to his lips and placing a kiss against it. "Then where shall we be wed? Do we journey to the White City still?"

"I'd like to get married there." she said. "But anywhere is alright as long as we do end up getting married. I just always hoped to be married in Minas Tirith." She sighed. "You know, at sunset with the sun turning red, soft colours illuminating the white stones...But what do you want?"

"Minas Tirith is fine, if it is what you want then it is what you will get!" he hugged her tightly, twirling her quickly around then setting her back to her feet.

Narya felt happiness swell up inside of her. "I love you." she said softly, and kissed him passionately. It sent shivers running down her spine.

Elladan relaxed, enjoying the kiss then slowly they parted. "The hour grows late..." he then escorted her to the door of her room and said good night.

Sarac lifted the mug to his nose and smelled.
"I always wonder why I've never drank but then I smell the stuff and remember." he drained it in one gulp. He put the mug down and took a deep breath.
"Nothing." he said to Pete. He filled another mug and drained it too; and another and another.
"Figures," he said. "As if things weren't bad enough already I can't even get drunk." He got up and left. He felt guilt about leaving Pete, you should never drink alone, especially if you're a hobbit. But he didn't care right now. He went to his room, took off his weapons and went to sleep.

" You haven't seen a thing yet, " Thorongil replied with a smile. " Great things are about to happen at our marriage. Wonderful things. But who knows what Midsummer brings? " he added, his hand on Elwyn's cheek.

"wonderful things.." Elwyn whispered, gazing off towards the Pelennor for a moment. She closed her eyes, nuzzling her face gently in Thorongils hand and smiled. "I could not ask for anything more wonderful than you have already given me, my love.." Elwyn said finally opening her eyes. The last bit of the evening sun sank below the horizon as darkness deepend around them.

" Anyone with some wits would give you that, " Thorongil said softly. The moon rose quickly, with a pale white light that brightened Elwyn's face and the white flower. The Ranger couldn't help but smile happily.

" Care for a walk in the dark streets of the city? " he asked her. " I'll follow you this time. To the end and back. "

She nodded without a word, looking up at the face of her beloved. The moonlight illuminated the white marble of the city streets as they walked together. Elwyn smiled to herself, then touched the flower once more that rested in her hair. She felt her face grow hot, knowing she was blushing once again. Thank goodness the darkness would hide it, as it had so often before.

But he knew she was blushing nonetheless. No veil, no night, not a hood cast over her face would hide it. Thorongil smiled.
The streets were empty, and they found a small plain with a garden and a fountain behind a corner. " You like the flower? " he asked after a silence broken only by the soft going of their feet.

"Very much.." she said with a slight smile. Walking to the fountain she allowed her fingers to brush the waters surface. Crickets chirped lightly from hidden places in the shadows. The moon reflected perfectly, as did the faces of those that happened to look into the fountain.

The moon crept over the high roofs.
" I'm glad you're happy, " Thorongil said as he sat down at the board of the fountain. It was a warm night, and innumberable stars flickered high above them and even high above the snow-white Mindolluin. " And I hope you will become even more happy, " he added softly.

Sarac had a very strange dream that night. He dreamed that he was walking through the forest looking for someone. He didn't know who all he knew was they needed to find whoever it was he was looking for and soon. He crossed into a clearing and for a split second saw what looked like a young boy, then he awoke. He awoke to the sounds of two people yelling at eachother. Narya and Thranduil.

He got dressed, strapped on his sword, and went towards the sounds. He got to Thranduils personal chambers where Narya and him were both red-faced.

"You promised me!" she cried. "You promised me that you'd keep it away"

"He found you Narya! He needs you! You're his mo-" said Thranduil trying to reason with his daughter.

"NO!" she screamed drowning her father out. "Don't you call me that. Don't you dare call me that!"

At that moment Sarac felt someone tug on his shoulder. It was Legolas.

"Trust me," he said. "You don't want to get caught up in this." Sarac walked down the hall a ways with him until he spoke.

"What are they yelling about? She seemed ready to pull a knife on him again." Legolas shuffeled nervously before looking his friend in the eye.

"Sarac," he said. "I don't know how, or even if there's a way to make this easy so I'm just going to say it. You're a fa..."

Sarac was storming through the castle in a blind rage looking for Narya. How dare she not tell him. How dare she keep something like this from him. He finally he heard her behind another door, the door to the library. He punched the door open and began screaming.

"OUT! OUT! ALL OF YOU OUT NOW!" They all rushed to the door, including Narya but Sarac grabbed her arm and stared into her eyes. "Not you."

Once everyone had gotten out Sarac shoved Narya away from him. He didn't say anything for a few moments the rage was just too much. So much that Dark Sarac was almost in control but he wasn't getting out. Not now at least.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked in a quiet voice that would've scared anyone else to death.

"Tell you what?" asked Narya. He couldn't possibly have heard her and her father. But then why was he this mad unless he knew?

"You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!" he said advancing on her. backing her almost to the wall.

"Sarac please, I don't know what you're-" she was cut off. Sarac grabbed her by the scruff of her shirt and pushed her into the wall with a 'THUD'

"I HAVE A SON!" he yelled at her. 'TWELEVE YEARS NARYA! I'VE HAD A SON FOR TWELVE YEARS AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME!" Narya tried to get a word in but Sarac wouldn't let her.
"I have never been so angry at anyone or anything in my life!" he said to her. "I've had a son for twelve years and you never bothered to tell me! Why not? Why in Mordor not! Wasn't I good enough any longer? Didn't you think I deserved to know?"

"I... I..." she mnaged to get out.

"Well I did!" he shouted back. "He's my son and you've hidden him from me! Why were you ashamed of me? Didn't you want him to know me? Or did you want me to not know him!?"

"Sarac, please," she said, almost on the verge of tears. "I'm not ashamed of you. But he's not my son, he can't be my son."

Sarac looked at her disgust on his face. "Not your son? Do you even have a clue what the definition of a son is? He came from you, he came from us he's ours. He's our son!"

"I haven't seen him for tweleve yeasr Sarac!" she cried. "I never wanted him!"

"I guess you never thought to ask me though?" he shouted. "I guess I wasn't important enough to know. Why? Why did you keep him fom me?"

"Because you would make me be a mother!" she yelled. "We weren't married and if I had to be his mother you know what kind of a scandal it would cause?"

"Oh! I get it," said Sarac who clearly didn't. "So you only want to be a princess when it suits you? Well guess what Narya? I don't care. I don't care what kinds of problems this causes you, and I espically don't care what it does to you and Elladan!"

"Neither do I!" she shouted. "I hate him! I hate him and I'll never be his mother!"

Sarac swung his arm and backhanded Narya across the face. She staggered backwards but then punched him in the face too. He was unfazed. It hurt like a Morgul blade but he didn't let it show. He grabbed her by the throat and spoke.

"Give him to me, he's my son Narya. Don't worry, I'll never let him know what kind of pathetic scum his mother is."

Narya kneed Sarac in the groin and he droped her and staggered backwards, some pain he couldn't ignore.

"Fine," she said. "Take him, but never let him know who I am."

"Don't worry," he said. "I won't."

He left the room, still as mad but he had to extingush it. He wheeled around and slugged the stone wall, making a dent in it.
'Better,' he thought. 'Much better' He walked until he found Legolas.

"I want to see him," he said to Legolas. "I want to see my son."

"Where's Narya?" he asked.

"We had words." The two walked down a hall to another room, Legolas opened the door and a child was in there, looking the same as the one from his dream.

He had dirty blonde hair, sea blue eyes, already had musceles forming and had to be not an inch smaller than 5' feet.
"Uncle Legolas!" he said when he saw him. He went over and hugged the prince.

"Elemak," he said. "I have someone for you to meet." He pointed.

Sarac held out his hand. "Hi Elemak," said Sarac. "My name's Sarac. I'm your father."

Elemak backed up away with his brow furrowed.
"But... the king told me my parents died."

Sarac gulped before speaking again. "Your mother did, but I didn't." Sarac started to cry. Here he was, his son, and already he had to lie to him. "I've wanted to meet you for so long ,son." He hugged the boy and he hugged him back.

"I've wanted to see you too ada."

Sarac held the boy tightly and cried.

'My son,' he thought. 'I have a son.'

The Elves gave back, and the rider rode through.
His cloak was in the darkest of blue, his hood cast deep over his face. At his girdle he had a long sword, and he bore no device. The black stallion halted before the Gates of Thranduil's realm. There the man dismounted. From under his cloak he took a sealed letter and opened it.

Look for the boy in Mirkwood's halls.
Find him and give him the thing.

~ Ninthar ~

His eyes turned away from the letter and looked into the deep, dark entrance. He put the letter back and with a slow and heavy step he entered.

Elwyn knew within her heart where happiness lie. It was in the arms of a ranger; the way his touch felt against her skin, the way his eyes plundered her very soul, but most importantly of all it was how he had captured her heart and claimed it his own. She exhaled deeply, allowing the cool fragrant air to fill her lungs.
Silence engulfed them, yet neither minded. It was silences like this that mattered. The kind of stillness that did not make you feel awkward or ill at ease. The hour was indeed growing late by now, Elwyn yawned capping her hand over her mouth.
“I fear I need rest my dear,” she said softly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elladan awoke, his head ached with the sounds of yelling from down the hall. He was still for a moment, listening…rubbing his eyes and attempting to find sleep once more. Yet the voices…they were familiar…
Narya…
Sarac…
He jumped from bed, wrapping a robe around himself as he strode out into the hall. Following the sounds he stopped as the doors flung open and people fled from within. One of the servants gave Elladan a frightened stare, as they soon disappeared down the corridor.
Elladan stayed, far enough that he could flee if he had to…yet close enough so that he could hear what was happening..

"You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!"
"Sarac please, I don't know what you're-"

The sound of Narya’s voice was cut off by a hollow thud. It took every ounce of strength within Elladan not to go to her aid.

"I HAVE A SON!" Sarac yelled.

It seemed at the word Son, Elladan tensed up. A son? Sarac had a son? Surely this childs mother wasn’t….That’s when he realized his thoughts had blocked out most of what had been said. He shook his head clear and listened on…

"I have never been so angry at anyone or anything in my life!" he said to her. "I've had a son for twelve years and you never bothered to tell me! Why not? Why in Mordor not! Wasn't I good enough any longer? Didn't you think I deserved to know?"

NO. NO. NO. Elladan could feel his mouth slack open in disbelief…what..what did Narya have to say for herself?? He wanted to ask so badly, but knew it best to stay out of some things. So he allowed his head to find his hands and he sat in silent disbelief.

"I... I..." Narya stuttered.

"Well I did!" Sarac shouted back. "He's my son and you've hidden him from me! Why were you ashamed of me? Didn't you want him to know me? Or did you want me to not know him!?"

"Sarac, please," Narya said her voice was becoming weak with tears. "I'm not ashamed of you. But he's not my son, he can't be my son."

"Not your son? Do you even have a clue what the definition of a son is? He came from you, he came from us he's ours. He's our son!"[/i]

Elladan stood straight, their son. Sarac and Narya’s son. How could she? How in hell had he managed to be fooled for so long! Elladan’s face grew red. Narya…she wasn’t the pure elven lady he’d dreamed of. He felt a tear fall from his eye. He turned and went back to his room…what was he going to do now? He and Narya were to be wed soon…
He swallowed hard, walking to the window and gazing up at the moon. He wanted to speak with Sarac now…
He had to speak with Sarac. Regardless of what hard feelings there were between them.

Thorongil looked at his fair lady.
" Then I shall bring you back to your room, Elwyn. " He stood up and pulled her from the bench as well. Together they walked through the night, the moon lighting the path before them and casting long shadows behind them. And he loved her dearly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Man turned around the corner and looked into another corridor. Faintly he heard the voice he was looking for. And another. His hood hid his face as he walked to the door from where the voices came from. Then he opened the door to find Sarac. And more importantly, the boy.

If anyone was more shocked that Sarac that he had found his son it was that Elemak founding out that the famous Sarac was his father. He had read everything written that even hinted at him. He had been training to be a fighter and was now excited that Sarac, his father, would be his teacher. The two had spent nearly the whole day sparring with wooden swords.

WHACK
WHACK
WHACK

"When your in the front ranks of a fight the spirit isn't going to be in your sword arm, it'll be in your heart. Strike hard with your left and cover with your right."

WHACK
WHACK
WHACK

"Where's your balance? Where's your balance?" Sarac swung his legs and tripped Elemak but he caught him before he hit the ground. "Don't worry, I got you." Sarac helped him up when the door was abruptly opened by a man in a dark blue cloak. His eyes were fixed on Elemak.

"Can I help you?" asked Sarac, his hand moving towards his sword hit.

There was a sweet good night between the Lady and her beloved. Crawling into bed she fell peacefully into rest and there she stayed.

" You must, " the man said, looking to the boy.
Yes, yes. It's him. " Turn aside Sarac. Or leave. I am here to take him away. He needs to be... trained. Taught. "
He cast back his hood and revealed an old, weary face, though with bright, shining eyes. " Don't use your sword against me, Sarac. " He drew his own weapon. " You might hurt yourself. "

He took another step forward and gave the boy a closer look. " Elemak? " he tried. " Yes, Elemak they named you. You're very special, you know. Destined for something great. "
He turned back to Sarac. " He needs training. He has some skills in him, far beyond any of us. I can help him control those skills. What do you think? "

As The Silver Leaf went to bed, and Thorongil had closed the door of her room softly, he went down to the lower circles. Down, down to the gate and then out. There the messenger waited for him with a large bag. " They have been generous, " Thorongil smiled. The other nodded. " It is a special occasion, of course. Not every day one of us marries an Elven-lady. "
" You've come all the way from the North to tell me that? " Thorongil laughed, " I must've been your favorite pupil! "
The other man didn't answer, but is face grew stern. " Take good care of her, Thorongil. She deserves the very best. "

He nodded. " She'll get it, " he replied and thanked the old Ranger for coming. " Come, I'll show you your room. "

Sarac brought his blade up to the man's face.
"I think you should leave," said Sarac. "My son stays with me." Then telepathically he added.

Try and take him it will be the last thing you do.

" I think you do not quite understand, " the man said, untouched by fear for the cold steel at his throat, " there is something about to happen. And by your will or not, Elemak will have a role to play in it. " He raised both his hands as a sign of peace. " Twelve years already he has lived without you. My order needs him. Needs his skills, his powers. You cannot protect him from what is to come, only he himself can do that." He let out a deep breath. " If and only if he controls his skills. "

A bright morning followed, with the sun breaking through all windows. Thorongil opened his eyes and yawned. A soft knock on his door made him get up.

" Thorongil? "

As he opened the door, he saw Aragorn and the old Ranger standing there, smiling. " Can I help you? " he muttered sleepily. " We're here to help you, " Aragorn said. " We have something to show you. Come on. "

" But,... Elwyn.. I need to bring her her breakfast. "

" All has been taken care of, dear friend, " the King laughed and pulled Thorongil out of his room.

((I'm not sure where they're supposed to be right now... short post this time, a little busy atm))

Pete kept his mugs as full as possible, and every time the drink was almost to the half empty mark he topped it up again. This time however, he did not plan on getting drunk. He left the kitchens when he was still sober, to see if he could find the others. He wondered around aimlessly looking for something to do.

Narya's anger was reaching breaking point when she found that her weapons were missing from her room. She had wandered the corridors of the Hall for what felt like hours, trying to think of something that would distract her, but it was no use. The only thing that could calm her was fighting, or practicing. Groaning, she left her room, and began to run down to the Stables, but she stopped abruptly when she heard someone speaking in a room to her right, a man that did not belong in Mirkwood. She drew closer, and heard him speak about Elemak. Powers? What talent did he have? He couldn't have inherited either her or Sarac's gifts! Shaking her head in denial, she began to move away again. She wouldn't have anything to do with her son, she had promised herself. And eves-dropping on conversations about him counted as having something to do with him. She sighed, and began to run again, down to the Stables.
