Looking from one to the other, Glorfindel surveyed the assembled the group with a look of puzzlment and mixed fear.

"Hiligan," he muttered in a low tone, "I think we should go and check on Ryn. There is strange work here or I am a dwarf. But we should remain concealed, I'm willing to bet that the guards do not know of these passages and we want to use our freedom to our advantage."

"I agree," Hiligan spoke softly, "if you're seeing blood on the wall and hearing screams, thats all the more reason to be cautious."

He had to let the others open the door; he was still not able to do so, even from the inside. Very carefully they entered the next chamber, and found that it was utterly dark. The candel they had offered but a small circle of light. Hiligan went forward and beheld his sister's crumpled form on the bed. He became worried at once and kneeled next to the bed, giving her a gentle shake. All he got in response was an annoyed groan. He tried again, this time whispering 'Ryn!".

In the glint of the firelight he saw her open her eyes. She made no sound, but her eyelids were heavy and she appeared half-asleep.
"Ryn, what happened?" he asked softly, resisting the urge to take the candel and hold it closer.

Ryn felt as though she were dreaming. She couldn't see her brother very clearly, but she recognized his voice and understood his question. What had happened? There was so much to explain, and perhaps more to ask, but she didn't have the energy. She only gave a short response before retreating back into darkness, away from her pounding headache.

"We're in trouble."

Hiligan sighed and glanced up at the others, then stood and moved to the door, pressing his ear against it for any sound of approaching guards. He heard none, but thought it wise to keep watch if they were to linger.

(bleh, no clue what to post... in suspense over purple's plot twist, though)

Glorfindel crossed the room to Ryn's side, and kneeling down next to her, he carressed her cheek with his good hand. On it was visible the beginning of a large bruise.

"Oh, you've been through the wars," he told her, keeping his voice as low as he thought best, "What did they do to you? What is going on?"

Ryn had been all ready to just go back to sleep, but the elf's touch woke her mind again, and his words stirred her muddled senses. The deepest part of her knew she needed to wake up and stop laying there helpless like a pitiful child; there were things she needed to share, important things that simply wouldn't wait.

With a great effort she propped herself up on one arm, massaging the aching place where the guard had struck her, and slowly allowed her vision to focus. Yes, there was Glorfindel. He was alright! That was a relief. Hiligan and Fae were there, as well as Dianen. Ryn didn't bother trying to figure out how they had all gathered in one room without being caught- she was sure she couldn't wrap her mind around it.

In the best way she could manage(which involved many mumbled words and back-traking to missed points), she related her experience, from her stumbling into Skyla in the corridor, to her shoving the king a second too late, to her clash with the brutal guard and his gauntlet.
"Even now the king may lay dead," she murmered at last, dropping back down on the pillow. Despair was obvious in her voice. "And we are blamed for it. We go to trial in the morning."

"But the king is not dead," Hiligan offered from his place by the door, "He has been tended by a healer, I am sure. He will not let you- or any of us- be condemned."
His tone of voice said that he was not so sure, but he wanted to comfort his little sister as much as possible. He was slightly bothered that he had not gotten such a repsonse from her when he'd spoken to her... but then, Glorfindel was an elf...

"We shouldn't linger too much longer," Dianen put in softly, "the guards will be back, no doubt."

"Agreed," Glorfindel replied, "Come on Ryn, we'd better move you. You can't stay here to wait for trail, and we'd better go and fetch Brenna to. Come on Fae give me a hand moving her."

Fae nodded and moved forward silently. "Can you walk or shall I carry you Ryn dear?" She smiled as she whispered. Evcen in the dark she could see Ryn's exasperated look. Fae helped her up and draped her shoulder over her armored shoulders, helping her stand. Let's head through that door." Fae jerked her head forwards, towards the door that was undoubtedly behind the strategically placed fainting couch.

Someone opened the door and they all filed in as quickly as they could, shutting it behind them. The ceiling was just high enough for Fae to stand up with her knees bent. She held out an arm to signal a stop. "There's a staircase ahead, we're in a corner, where to Skyla's room?"

Ryn was rather embarassed to need help at all, but she deeply appreciated Fae's support. As they moved on her head cleared a little, and her drowsiness wore off. The only problem with that was that the pain caused by her developing bruise became much sharper.

"There's a staircase ahead, we're in a corner, where to Skyla's room?"

"I think we should turn and follow the corner," Ryn put in softly, and let go of Fae, putting a hand on the opposite wall to steady herself. She also had to bend her knees, and the position was in no way comfortable with her headache; Hiligan and Glorfindel were more out of place with their heights, though, so she refused to complain.
"If my thoughts are correct, I turned by Skyla's room as I left this corridor before... where do we mean to go? We cannot hide in here forever..."

Brenna sighed and rolled over in her sleep, curling up under the blankets. Deep in the realm of dreams, she frowned when she heard the others' voices, moaning under her breath for them to go away.

And then a cool hand was on herside, shaking her gently. With in a flash, Brenna was sitting up, glaring at Hilgilien, who was the one who had been sent to shake her into wakening. Rubbing sleep from her eyes and ignoring her pounding headache she looked around at the others. "How did you get in here?" She asked, feeling particually stupid.

"Secret passages." Hiligilen told her, pointing to the tapestry that hid their entrance.

Brenna rose, pulling her shirt over her undershirt as she did so and went to examin the passage. "That's interesting, I didn't know about this one." She mused, mostly to herself. Returning to grab her surcoat and weapons she looked at the others, awake now, and ignoring her headache. "Where are we going then?"

"I'm afraid that there might be some confusion over the term 'we'," Glorfindel chimed in, he was currently surveying the mark on Ryn's face, running his fingers over it to check for swelling or deeper bruising, "Alas dear Skyla, tonight's events have made our position dangerous. Ryn, hold still, I want to check for signs of trauma."

He conintued to give Ryn his complete attention, now laying hands on her face and checking for signs of concussion. Only once he was completely statisfied would he stop, and turn back to Brenna.

"By dangerous I mean that we are now the suspected assasains, all of us. Even those who remained in our chambers, such as Hiligan or Earendel are suspected. In fact the only one of us our can actually claim ignorence to the events of tonight is me, and believe me it causes me no pleasure to bring this fact to light. Therefore I feel compelled to provide counsel in this matter, as it is the very thing I swore to provide in just such a set of circumstances as these, so pray pardon my rather forward thinking.'
'Our enemies seek to divide and conquer us, and thus removing themselves from the light of suspicsion at the same time. By framing Skyla and Ryn for the attempted murder they not only have some excellent scape goats, but also the chance of incriminating the rest of us too. Now in this course we have very little control over affairs, we have lost the ear of the King and any other who might have aided us, so now we are alone. So, we should therefore bide our time, return to our chambers and wait a change in fortunes, if I am right, then the real plotters will seek to not only convict Ryn and Skyla, but some how the rest of us as well. This greed will lead them to take a step too far, and hopefully provide that 'slip-up' we all so desperately need. But for now, Skyla and Ryn had better be returned to their chambers, for I guess that they will face trial sooner rather than later. As for the rest of us we should so like wise, to prevent any further inquiries."

( I shall post the chars to their rooms, but I'm going to wait and let LMM do the honors of getting us through the night and getting the trail started. Tawar, please wait and let us post through to the beginning of the trail before you start, and lets let it drag out a bit- meaning, lets not cover it all in just two or three posts. thanks! )

"..... But for now, Skyla and Ryn had better be returned to their chambers, for I guess that they will face trial sooner rather than later. As for the rest of us we should so like wise, to prevent any further inquiries."

"What did I come traipsing in here for, then?" Rynwyn asked crossly, then regretted her attitude at once. Glorfindel was only trying to do what was best. And it was true; they didn't really have any other choice but to wait and hope. Escape was completely out of the question, for more reasons than one.
"I'm sorry," she sighed to the elf, then turned and eyed the passage door. She wanted very badly to ask Skyla what had happened back in that corridor, but now didnt' seem like the time or place. No doubt the guards were still on the prowl, searching for the missing prisoners.
"Let us go on then," Ryn said, "Hopefully we'll all feel better in the morning-- and that is only a few hours away."
She bade a soft goodnight to Skyla, then went to the door and waited.

It was not long before she found herself back in the dark chamber. She wanted someone to stay with her- she didn't like the shadows, and despite her brave front she was afraid to be left alone. Hiligan gave her a hug and kissed the top of her head before leaving with Fae for the passage that would lead to their rooms. Glorfindel remained behind with Dianen.

"It would be best if you stayed here," the older woman said to the elf, "Since the guards saw me help you in. I will attend the trial, and speak in your defense if I may, though I know not if anyone will listen to my words. Goodnight."

Dianen went to the door and knocked. It was opened, and the woman recieved a bewildered look from the guard that stood there.
"How did you-- there was no one in there!" he exlaimed, looking menacingly inside at Ryn and Glorfindel. The light from the torch on the wall cast an orange glow on his glaring face.
"What are you talking about?" Dianen retorted, "They have been here since they entered. You missed them in the shadows, if you looked in this room at all. Move out of my way- I am going to bed."

She was gone in an instant, and the offending guard looked at Rynwyn hard before shutting the door and locking it once more. Sighing, Ryn sat on the bed and massaged her aching head, then turned to look at Glorfindel. She wanted to ask about his arm, and ask if he really had any hope that the trail would turn in their favor, but she didn't have the heart. So she rested against the headboard, trying not to dwell on what would happen with dawn's coming.

( Thanks DD, ok then I'm going to skip straight through to dawn now, seeing as there is very little we can till then.)

Glorfindel watched Dianen out of the room, and returned the guard's glare with one of his own. As the door slid shut he turned back to face Ryn. She sat on the bed, massaging her head. Their eyes met in that moment.
It was like nothing he was ever experienced before. The room seemed to fade, and all that he was aware of was her looking at him, and he looking at her. Half formed thoughts stampeded through his mind:

Ask her whether she's ok? Check her head? No, she'll think you are fussing and you know she.... Will appreciate how much you care.

These were little more than vain attempts to break this quite awkquad silence. However the moment ended, as Ryn lay back againist the headboard and broke off her gaze. Glorfindel still stood at bay, lost with what to do, but something prevailed in him.

He moved cautious over to the bed and sat down next on Ryn's left. Very slowly, and with the same caution he lifted his left arm and laid it around her shoulder. Finally he pulled her to his chest, in a reassuring hug.

Glorfinel Ingold was at a lose of what to do, for it seemed that all they could do was wait for dawn and see what that would bring.

**************************************************

The mood in the Golden Hall was sullen that night, for normally the after math of the evening meal would still be in affect. Couples out for a midnight stroll in Edoras, groups of stragglers still talking quietly over mugs of ale in the hall, as the fires did into glowing embers, but tonight the only sound came from the obminous footsteps of the guards, sweeping the outside and corridors of the Hall, vigilant for any further attempts on the life of their lord.
Inside their rooms the group sat in silence, awaiting the fateful hour of dawn. For their doom hung by a thread, and shopudl that thread break then all of their hard work and striving ever towards the truth would have been for naught. Should they fall at the last hurdle then they would forever wonder why Reothed had died.

At last the light appeared in the east and grew broader. So the fateful knock came, as the plains of Rohan grew grey in the new light and the same gruff voice summoned them to the last stage of their journey.

"It's time."

(great one, lmm! ^_^ I can't help myself... I'm at school and these computers are ten thousand times faster than my own. and the rest of yall, sorry if I've sped things along too quickly. Feel free to backtrack if you wish. I'll post them to the trial. I'm assuming Hean's uncle is the guy presiding over things, but I shall leave that open.)

At last the light appeared in the east and grew broader. So the fateful knock came, as the plains of Rohan grew grey in the new light and the same gruff voice summoned them to the last stage of their journey.

"It's time."

The knock woke Rynwyn and she opened her eyes to see the guard push open the door and say his bit, realizing she had fallen asleep leaning against the elf's chest.

The guard stood waiting for a moment, and when neither of his charges made an attempt to move, strode inside the room.
"Your trial is to take place in the Golden Hall, and I am to escort you there. Come on."

Sighing, Rynwyn cast an anxious glance at Glorfindel before sliding off the bed and standing. She felt as though she had not slept at all, abd she wondered if he had. His face appeared just as tired as she guessed hers was. The pale light of morning that crept through the window shutters was sickly and cheerless as it spilled across his features.
"Lets go then," Ryn said flatly, and left the room, holding up the skirts of the ruined dress and trying to blink away her sleepiness. The headache from before was gone; for that much she was grateful. Her new bruise was painful, though.

When they came into the corridor they found their friends being ushered out of their rooms in much the same fashion. Hiligan made as if to come to his sister's side, but a guard stopped him before he got there and commanded that he go in the other direction.

It was not long before they found themselves back in the Golden Hall, where their ill fortune had begun. A few men were seated about the fire, and as the 'prisoners' entered, one inparticular stood. He was dressed richly, and an expression of disdain was on his face. He obviously had it in for them. Rynwyn's dwindling hope began to falter even more.
"Since Eomer King is unable to do his duty, thanks to evil deeds," the man said, shooting a venomous glance at the weary company. "I will preside over this trial in his absence. Be assured, justice will be served."

Earendel walked quitely with the rest. After the regally dressed man had started she spoke softly"sir, I will remind you that with the king having been only wounded and a healer stateing that he willb e up and about by noon it would be improper for you to impose any sentence until king Eomer comes in."

THE man snerred"you will not speek again in my court room elf."

Earendel chuckled"you sir missed the banquet last night because there I was accpeted as a mother of an officer of the rohirrim as such I am allowed to speak at any trail I chose and I chose this one."

The growl in the mans voice was unmistakable. "fine just dont instruct me, ihave had my post for some time, My descions are automatically accepted by the king."

Earendel nodded yes but her words did not help. "Sir you have a shorter memory then me for I remember 3 men in your postion being removed from it and punished by the king, one even executed."

The man continued as if nothing had happened.

Earendel stood quetly allowing other do say waht they chose to for some time.
-------

Eomer looked at the healer, "I have desided to allow my guest another couple of hours of sleep so the trail will not begin at dawn but when I deside. See that no one enters or leaves this room until I am ready. "
At which he went and sat at a desk in another area of his roomand took care of somethings.

Fae had sat by the window for what seemed like the entire night. She had finally retired to her bed when her eyes would not stay open. It was pointless to sleep however, because she slept to see her family die one thousand deaths while she looked on in chains.

She woke up feeling very cold, the only sound greeting her being the bell that announced the trial. There was a knock on the door and she got stiffly out of bed. Fae was just in the act of changing when two guards burst into her chamber. She yelled angrily and swore loudly at them and they left quickly. "Is there no more decency in this bloody place?" She fumed to herself as she stormed across the room.

Her fiery hair certainly matched her temper. She had a great deal of trouble not blurting out several obscenities at the ostentatious oaf that sat in for the king. "How can justice be served when the judge has already decided the verdict?" She muttered angrily. Fae looked admiringly at Earendel and nodded at everything the elf said, and even jumped to her feet when the idiot told her friend to shut up, though she soon remembered that she was chained to the bench before her.

Here they were, being tried by the very people whom they sought to save, it was times like these that convinced Glorfindel that fate had a strong sense of irony. How he despised that.

The group were arrayed in the Great Hall, before the great dias, on which the throne was situated. However now there was a long, scrubbed, table there, and sitting behind it were a row of five men. Glorfindel had not believed it possible for a group of individuals to bear so many similarities and yet these men were all off a fairly large build, with pale straw hair, and hard grey eyes. On each of their fat faces was placed a look of absolute contempt, and in some their many chins wobbled with barely controlled rage.

But then again Glorfindel hadn't expected a fair hearing. There was one advantage, he, unlike the others was not chained to the bench before them, because of his injury the double shackes would have been impossible to apply. But his left arm was shackled instead to Ryn's own, further up than the other bonds, so that should Ryn break away from the bench then she and he would still be tethered together like wild beasts caught for amusement.

This treatment did not seemed to have a dulled the spirits of his companians, Earendel's brilliant speech, and Fae's firey respone almost made him smile. They were going to give these parasites a hard go of it. For now though he sat quietly as the charges were read out, massaging his injured wrist, easing the pain a little.

"Let it be known that for the attempted slaying of our lord, and treachery againist our people, we do hereby recommend the sentence of death to Rynwyn daughter of Morwen, and to Skyla."

This got Glorfindel's attention, he jerked so rapidly that he pulled Ryn over as well. Shooting a look of shock down the table to Earendel and Skyla, he hoped that there was someway out of this.

Rynwyn listened to all that was said without much expression. She was glad her friends spoke against the man, but she didn't have the heart at the moment to do anything more than look forelornly at the shackles on her wrists.

"Let it be known that for the attempted slaying of our lord, and treachery againist our people, we do hereby recommend the sentence of death to Rynwyn daughter of Morwen, and to Skyla."

This got Glorfindel's attention; he jerked so rapidly that he pulled Ryn over as well. Shooting a look of shock down the table to Earendel and Skyla, he hoped that there was someway out of this.

Not only did Glorfindel's sudden movement bring Ryn out of her vegetable-like state- a death sentence was enough to get anyone's attention!
"What?!" she cried, standing and falling back to sitting because of her being 'stuck' to the elf, "This is lunacy! We have done nothing but try to save the king!"
"Silence!" The man barked, slamming his fist down on the table. "I tire of your disrespect! The proofs have been given and we here have decided your fate. It is well deserved!"

"Allow me to speak, lords!"
Ryn turned and saw Dianen shoving past a guard and walking across the hall. The man who had just spoken snorted.
"What have you to say? The verdict has been given. There is no need for it."
"You have not listened to all witnesses!" The woman retorted, crossing her arms, "I was in Rynwyn's chamber when she left to warn the king of his danger. There is no doubt in my heart that that was her intent."
The speaker narrowed his eyes.
"You knew the girl escaped from her room?"
"I did. But I promise-"
"Did you see her warn the king?"
"Well--no, but-"
"Then they play-acted and you believed their lies."
Dianen's lip curled in disgust.
"I refuse to believe you! If the king's healer said he will be well enough to attend this court, it is your duty to wait."

The man stared at her coldly for a few tense moments of silence. Rynwyn felt her heart fall, knowing that the woman's words would make no difference.

"You were not asked to come," he said at last, "Now get out, or you will be escorted out- and held where you cannot interfere with royal matters."

(maybe dianen can help 'save' us? she could run and find the king- but of course, she'd have to avoid being stopped, which she will most certainly be... *evil cackle*)

Dianen stood rooted to the spot, despite her fierce words she was quite at a lose with what to do. She had to do something, anything! This was not a trial it was a sham, and by the time the King would come it would be too late for anyone.....

The hideous reality of the situation reared up to meet her, if Ryn and Skyla were to be put to death....what of the others?

Wheeling around she faced those dispicable men once more, but when she spoke this time her voice was quiet and strangled, such was her fear.

"The others, what will become of them?"

One men, larger, more bloated than the rest sat in the middle of their little clutch. He turned his pale grey eyes onto Dianen, and smiled which spread slowly accross his visage. His face warped slowly into some mockery of pleasure, and just visible, was a set of pointed yellow teeth.

"Well my dear," he smiled, his voice oozing sick pleasure into every syllable, "They are accessories to the fact. Although they took no part in the actual attack they no doubt helped to form a diversion so it would be allowed. Therefore Master Hiligan and Ladies Fae and Earendel, will be processed for more information, then they will be dealt with accordingly."

His gaze shifted from Dianen, to the convicts before him. Here it lingerd, and from behind those greasy, fat lips and slimely tongue appeared, and rolled right around, dancing pervertedly as if for the accused. Then it slid back over of sight, but his gaze shifted to Glorfindel.

"Lord Glorfindel, although you have an allaby for the nights events, and thus cannot have played any part in the affairs. However you still plotted againist our Lord and thus you shall be rewarded by spending the rest of your days in the care of the Mark's dungeons. Of course you shall have a clear view of the execution and the extraction process."

Dianen looked widly around to Glorfindel, but the elf appeared not even to be listoning to what the 'magistrate' was saying. His eyes were instead fixed unblinkingly on a point just over Dianen's shoulder, and as she watched his left eye twitched ever so slightly. Dianen continued to stare straight at him, but the elf was still intensely interested in the point over her left shoulder. She continued to stare, but Glorfindel looked away again, not to the magistrate, but to Hiligan who was seated on his right.

"Well done Hiligan," he hissed, anger festered in his voice, "Well done, a truely amazing scheme, brilliant. Now look where your greed has got us, death for your sister and Skyla, torture for yourself, Earendel and your beloved Fae. Oh yes....and you have obtained me the privilage of eternal bondage to these foolish mortals, AND I get to watch the woman I love die."

Without any warning he swung at Hiligan, unfortunately with his left arm, so Ryn was again pulled over and the whole bench shook. Ryn gave a scream as she was lurched to the side, pulled with the elf as he leapt onto her brother. Raining blows down with both hands, despite his sling and injured arm.

Pandemonium broke out, the fat parasites on the dias gave squeals of fright and rolled backwards out of sight. The guards ran hither and thither, some trying to reach the prisoners, others simply performing an accurate impression of a beheaded chicken. In the midst of this all, Glorfindel spun Hiligan around and slammed him into the floor, then twisted his arm around behind him. Seizing Ryn his good arm he pulled her as for away from the bench as he could, until the chains pulled tight, and he wrapped his left arm chain around Hiligan's neck and pulled.

The situation with the three of them locked together, Hiligan tied to the bench and held by the chain around his neck. Glorfindel locked to Ryn and Hiligan by the same chain on his left arm, with Ryn resting on his injured arm. Finally Ryn herself, chained to the bench, but to Glorfindel and Hiligan as well, with her back to her brother and held tight againist the elf.

"Work with me here," Glorfindel whispered to her, as he watched Dianen sprint for the corridor that led to Eomer's chambers.

"I'LL KILL YOU! YOU DOG! I'LL KILL YOU!"

Well it was crude, and very, very awkward, but what else was he supposed to do? He had been the only one not chained to the bench.

Anyway, part of him was quite enjoying himself.

ooc- either this trail went a lot faster then the plan was or I have been away longer then planned.

ic- Earendel was shocked at the shortness of the mock trail. She wondered of Eomer was even awake yet. She had heard of elves being able to telapathically talk to humans but she had never tried it. But there was no garenetee that Dianen would get to the king. She knew she know she would have to try. It was no small feat even for an elf to totaly disreagrd pandamoniom going one but she cleared her mind of all thought except to allert King Eomer that the trail had be concluded without him being present. She send the message. The only reponse was the king raised his head from his paper work.

---

Daimen made it too the kings door less then 15 seconds later and pounded screanming "they have already finished the trail." The gaurds had been shocked to see the woman and none had reacted until she had started pounding had yelled once. Two of the gaurds went to hit her but Noldon opened the door for her to go in couple seconds before they reached her with their dagers.

Daimen tumbled into the kings chamber and repeated her message. The 2 gaurds ouitside both puched Noldor with the hilts of their daggers for letting her in.

Eomer stood as the woman repeated her words. His words were increduos"That is totally improper. I said I wouild hold their trail today, one else has the right to even start it with out me."

Daimen replied "all of them except the elf lord have been sentenced to death."

Eomer's shock was so great that he sat down hard. His hand went to his face to hide his expression.

ooc- now everyone by all means finish the pamdamonium.

(ooc- the trial isnt over yet. there's nothing to keep the guards from trying to dissuade Eomer from leaving his room (if they've been paid off), and now we've got Glorfindel beating Hiligan Much fun left to be had! I simply meant that we try not to let the entire thing get resolved so quickly that it becomes anti-climactic.)

Hiligan was caught off guard when Glorfindel dove at him, and try as he might he couldn't manage to fight back with his one hand- all he could do was try to shove the elf off, while shouting "Are you mad?!" and cursing loudly when the elf's fist connected with his nose. In just a few more confusing moments Glorfindel was behind him, on top of him, chain against his throat.

"Work with me here," Glorfindel whispered to her, as he watched Dianen sprint for the corridor that led to Eomer's chambers.

"I'LL KILL YOU! YOU DOG! I'LL KILL YOU!"

Rynwyn had been preparing to scream at Glorfindel anyway, and knowing that he was 'play-acting' didn't deter her at all.
"What are you doing?!" she gasped, trying to push her way out of his grasp. She had little success-- one arm was stretched out, pulled as far as it would go against the chained cuff on it, and useless for anything else but causing pain. The other was attatched to Glorfindel, its chain around her brother's throat, and her movement only pulled it tighter. The position she now found herself in was most uncomfortable, but they had to give Dianen every second...
"Would you stop!" she shouted at Glorfindel, basically right into his face, and attempted to un-hook the chain from around the throat of Hiligan, who was still trying to get away and had no clue what was going on. "How dare you accuse him of such a thing?! You know he had nothing to do with it!! Let go!!"

Ryn shot a glance at Fae, Skyla and Earendel, as if urging them to 'join' the chaos- and hoping that Dianen had made it. The guards now seemed to have made up their minds- a handful ran after Dianen, and more came in Glorfindel's direction.

----

Eomer stood as the woman repeated her words. His words wre increduos"That is totally improper. I said I wouild hold there trail today one else has the right to even start it with out me.

Daimen replied "all of them except the elf lord have been sentenced to death."

Eomers shock was so great theat he sat down hard. His hand went to his face to hide his expression.

In only a moment he stood back to his feet, wincing a little as his wound pained him, and placing a hand over it.
"That the trail should go on without me is definite reason to believe the traveler's words- come then, let us to them before this madness goes any further."

The king made for the doorway, only to find his own guards standing there. They looked at him darkly, and one glanced down disdainfuly at Noldor, who lay unmoving at his feet.

"Move," Eomer ordered, but the men paid no heed.
"I said, move," he commanded again.

"I am sorry, leige," the taller one said, gripping his spear defiantly, "but I don't think you should put yourself under this stress..."

The king glared at his men. He knew he was in no condition to fight.
"I refuse to be kept prisoner in my own Hall. Move out of my way!"

Again, they didn't budge. Eomer stepped back, anger clear on his face. These men would be punished for their insolence... but now he could do nothing in the way of battle.
"How much are they paying you?" he growled with a sneer, "I shall double the amount. Just let me pass!"
The men looked doubtfully at eachother. One moved as if to step away, but the other sharply grabbed his elbow and whispered a few harsh words.

Suddenly more guards came barreling up the corridor, and the two that stood there were forced to give way. The taller cursed and turned to flee as the newcomers made for Dianen, who had moved around behind the king's desk.
"Seize them!" Eomer shouted, pointing for the trecherous guards. He had to turn and loudly order two men to let Dianen be, and by that time a fight had broken out between several men in the doorway. The king took up his sword and went forward, avoiding swinging limbs and trying to get past the brawling guards. Out of the blue a fist caught him in the back and he stumbled forward, falling hard to the floor. Pain erupted in his chest and he sucked in a sharp breath, unable to move for a moment.
"My lord!" Dianen's voice came from within the room, and she appeared at his side, helping him to his feet. They both glanced back at the guards. Two broke away and came at them, but made no move to attack.
"We were told you were not well," one said breathlessly, nursing a bleeding lip, and the other nodded, unable to speak at all.

((*runs very fast to catch up, leaving a pile of undone homework in her wake*))

Brenna stirred lazily at the loud knock. She had fallen asleep in a strange, twisted postition after the others had left, and her body ached. She stretched as the guard came in listening half heartedly to his over pompus summons. When he appeared to have finished she finally looked at him, and then shrugged.

"Oh, leave me alone for a bit to get dressed." Brenna said, rising and moving to physically push him out of the room. The guard paused, completly bemused by her odd mood, and didn't fight against her until it was too late and he had been ushered from the room.

Brenna washed her face, and dressed in a clean set of leggings and a brown tunic that she found, throwing her surcoat over the top as usual. Automatically hidding a few knives amongst her clothes, she left most of them on top of her bed, and then left the room.

Brenna was led into the main hall, and chained to the bench. Although she had gone to sit on the bench beside Hiligan, she was pulled away, onto another one, where she sat singled out, unerved slightly by the heavy chains on one wrist.

"Let it be known that for the attempted slaying of our lord, and treachery againist our people, we do hereby recommend the sentence of death to Rynwyn daughter of Morwen, and to Skyla."

Brenna wasn't too shocked - yet. She'd been in this situation before, twice, acctually, and had come out of both alive. Although she hadn't had others to look out for those times, and she knew that something in her would *make* her help the others, no matter what she wanted.

Brenna was thinking of a way out of this when Glorfindel grabbed her attention as he leapt at Hiligan. For a moment she wondered what on earth the elf was doing, and then she suddenly realised. Leaping to her feet, she tugged at the chain as if she was trying to reach the others. "Leave out of this, elf!" She spat. "Find someone else to blame. At least he doesn't lie around helpless!"

***

Hean ran up the the king, his eyes wide, and blood splattered on his face. "Sir, there's been another attack!" He panted, looking as if he were in shock. "Please, what should I do? What should be done? I don't know - please sir."

The young man looked almost on the edge of tears as he stood before the king, wringing his hands.

((Not sure who as been attacked. Just a distraction.))

Unforunatley Glorfindel did not have time to provide a brilliant and damaging response to Skyla's remark, as the guards had now become involved. Now it a common misconcept that the generic guard is an incompetent bumbling moran, most are highly skilled soliders and are highly adept at performing their menial task of standing threateningly outside said door or gate. However the pitfall for the common guard is that when it comes to anything more complex than 'guarding' then he is essentially out of his depth.
This not imply that they are inept or foolish, more rather than they will obey what they consider to be the nearest authority figure, in this case the row of fat, bureaucratic maggots hosting our litte groups sham of a trial. Now in this case, when facing a group of superior skill, but inferior numbers they follow their training.
And mob them.

It was just a predicament that faced Glorfindel Ingold, for he was suddenly confronted with a rushing wall of armoured bodies and bright spears, and not being in a position where retaliation was really an option he followed his training.
Seizing the nearest stool he brought it down as hard as he could on the helemet of the nearest man. There was a tone like a church bell and the guard crumpled like a sack of potatoes. Glorfindel on the other hand wasted no time in ramming the stool in the face a second guard. This individual, rather to the disadvantage of Glorfindel rememberd he carried that shiney killing stick called a long sword, and with these he clove Glorfindel's stool to match wood, but he was rewarded by a hefty clunk to the nogin with his own shield. He also crumpled.

It says something for Glorfindel's sense of sport that he chose not to run the man through with his own sword, rather to bonk him over the nogin with his own shield. Afterwards many said they would have prefered the feel of cold steel to the headaches they recieved instead. In response to these critics Glorfindel simply replied....

"They started it."

Despite these heroic only two guards had dropped and there were still more, as well as the group still being chained to the bench and in the case of Glorfindel, Ryn and Hiligan. The group did have one advantage in this area, the fact that they were all exhausted, angry and this willing to go that little bit further than normal.

Glorfindel knew what the sensible thing would have been to do, but sensible had been left out somewhere on a dark clear night when he had first clapped eyes on the body of a young Rohirrim man. So it was that Glorfindel locked the chain around Hligan's neck as tight as it would go and waited for the first incoming sword strike. One slight jerk, a nick on the neck for Hiligan and a cut wrist for himself later Glorfindel was free.

"A little help here?"

Earendel saw that the mayhem was getting worse. The proper and logical thing todo would be to lesen it immediately.

But Earendel like the rest of her comrads was beyond logic, but she had enough sence ot know that killing gaurds would be very bad no matter which side they were on .

Earendel stepped over to the group and took her dagger which no one had bother to take from her and used it to snap the chain then connected Ryn to the bench. It left a notch in the dager but the woman was free now. She spoke firmly. "make sure you dont kill the gaurds". Then she passed a knife that had been in her room to Ryn.

Earendel stood her ground and swong at the first gaurd to get close enough. She hit him square on the head with the hilt of her dagger. He crumpled. The second one got simalair treatment. After that Earendel felt a large object shoved inot her back (oneof the gaurds shields) causing her to fall over taking others with her including the man who had hit her.

From her possition on the floor she mangaged to trip one more gaurd.

ooc- mayhem getting worse instead of better.

(I figure eomer should make his way to the Hall soon, before we all get killed we can still have some fun once he's there-...)

As Glorfindel fought with the guards Rynwyn was pulled every which way, against the chain hooked to the bench, wherever the elf felt he needed to punch; her arms felt as if they might pop out of place. She swore inwardly that if they didn't get killed first, she'd get back at Glorfindel for that...

Suddenly the elf was free, and Ryn fell once that chain was broken. She landed squarely on her rump and sat there for a moment, glancing at Hiligan, who seemed completely flummoxed.

"A little help here?"

More guards came at them, and Ryn scrambled- half crawling- back to the bench, just getting out of the way of two of them. Earendel passed her and she found herself free, the shackle hanging loosely about her wrist, a few chain links swinging from it. So it was on both arms- and as she began resisting the guards (who attacked her first) she made use of the metal cuffs, ramming them into any face she found exposed. The dagger she was almost afraid to use; she had no death on her hands in Edoras, and she didn't want to have any now. She used it, though, the best way she knew how. The guards were angry, though, and far too skilled for a weary village girl with a throbbing headache and no other weapons but wrist-irons and a dagger she didn't know how to use. After she'd only managed to knock two of them back and ward of a few more, she was shoved hard. Stumbling back she slammed into the bench, flipping over it and taking it with her! Fae, Skyla, and Hiligan as well were pulled back- Hiligan giving a mighty curse and scrambling for Earendel's dagger, which Ryn had dropped in her fall. He began pounding at his chain with it (which was very difficult, considering he had to try and use the chained arm to break the chain), but had not even come close to breaking free when a shield came flying and knocked him backwards.

Ryn lay sprawled on the floor, arms and legs akimbo. Another guard made for her and she got to her feet, attempting to beat him off.

The men who had been presiding over the trial continued to shout.
---

Hean ran up the the king, his eyes wide, and blood splattered on his face. "Sir, there's been another attack!" He panted, looking as if he were in shock. "Please, what should I do? What should be done? I don't know - please sir."

The young man looked almost on the edge of tears as he stood before the king, wringing his hands.

Eomer looked at Hean blankly, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Everyone's gone mad!" he cried, "Whoever it is- take my healer to them!" he waved a hand back at the room where the healer had been, quiet and frightened. As a short silence came- the guards had stopped fighting, and the traitors had been subdued- and the king heard, through his throbbing headache, the shouts echoing from the Hall. Grabbing Dianen's wrist, he headed in that direction, wondering how on earth he would restore any sort of order...

Eeomer and Danien moved out of his room, after they had cleared the room Eaomer saw Noldon on the ground, he spoke to one of his gaurds"wake him as soon as possible, then, when the trators are tightlu bound, come to the great hall."

As they walked down the hall Eomer could hear a major commontion and he wondered how he could restore order.

When the entered the great hall an idea came to him. He walked slowly over to the cornor. THe bong type thing had been used less then a half dozen time in the last 20 years but hopefully his men would member and stop the fighting.

He used the paddle on the metal disk 3 times in slow succession. The affect on all the gaurds was immediate. They all took some paces back from thier encounters and stood quitely at attension.

(This leaves the visitors alone by the benches. ) Earendel gets up and shacks herself off. Then stands quielty.

Those how had been holding court stood at the sound as well.
The one who had been in charge spoke, " My liege, I was under the inpression that you were imcapassatated for a long time so I have had the sad duty to hold court over your visitors. We were given much proof that it was in fact 2 of them that tried to kill you last night. As such it was my duty to order them to be put to death. A punishment you will surely agree in the bare minumum for attemping to kill you."

(This should leave a bit more fun before Eomer breaks his news... THE gong thing is something that I thought I saw for a few seconds in the golden hall in one of the movies. Hope that is an acceptable way of controling mayhem, Other wise it may have taken days to contain it.)will check for typos later tonight.

(aaaaaaagh!!)

Fae had decided long ago that speaking was futile, so she began to wittle away at the wood where her shackles were attached. She looked down in disdain at her dagger that began to get duller and duller, but managed to pull the spikes of the chains free. Fae looked down to see the shackles swinging from her wrists and sighed, how would she ever get those off?

She remained silent through the sentencing, though her mind was teaming with angry words that she might have spat at the idiot before her.

When Glorfindle attacked Hiligan, she made to pull him off, but suddenly realised what he was doing and played along with the others. Total chaos soon broke out and she found herself swinging the chains around and whipping guards in the face. She decided that killing was a bad idea in the hall, though it was certainly not a foreign concept. She followed Glorfindle's lead and did alot of head bashing as the room swirled around her.

When the king finally entered, she sat down immeadiatly and the hall became deathly quiet. Even the oafs at the front of the room shut up.

Their scheme in ruins, their plans twhated these bloated slugs resorted to despartion. Lunging accross the table, the lead one drew a long crooked dagger from his belt. He was surprisingly agile for his size, before Glorfindel knew what had happened he was on the floor, his right arm crushed beneath him. Screaming in pain he was kicked away, and the parasitr blunder past and seized Brenna by her hair.
Pulling her to him, he pressed the dagger to her neck.

"Anyone moves," he hissed, "and she dies. Now out of the way."

Brenna had frozen automatically at the tolling of the gong, looking up, a slight grin on her face. She wasn't scared, she was almost treating this as a game, even though someone had managed to tear the arrow wound on her leg so it was throbbing.

Her attention on the king, she didn't notice the man coming towards her until it was too late. Letting out a very unladylike curse as he pulled on her hair, dragging her backwards, she stumbled on her injured leg. Brenna caught hold of the man who had a hold on her for support as he brought his blade to her throat, leaving her unable to react in time.

For a moment she froze, the cold metal resting against her neck. Brenna closed her eyes as she worked out what to do, and then when she had, moved with the speed of a snake. She pulled up her hand, pressing it against the knife, so that as she slipped out of the man's grasp it cut her hand rather than her neck. Ignoring the pain from her palm, she kicked the man hard, and then punched him twice, before dancing away.

(ooc. yes, tawar, please check the ooc. And I have a terrible lack of inspiration, but here we go))

Ignoring the pain from her palm, she kicked the man hard, and then punched him twice, before dancing away.

The man cried out and stumbled back, making a desperate grab for Brenna before he fell. After he did fall, the silence that had filled all the Hall ended, and noise erupted. Loyal guards scrambled for the man and his comrades, and the few remaining who had been paid off went in every direction, most heading to make an escape. Eomer shouted orders for them to be stopped, faltering where he stood as his wound pained him.

Rynwyn had still been sitting with her legs sprawled over the fallen bench, but when the man grabbed Brenna she had scrambled to her feet, alarmed. She was not surprised to see the girl escape, though, and felt very smug when the frightened 'judge' fell flat on his back. As the guards rushed to complete the king's command, going after the offending 'conspirators' Ryn went to her brother, who had not been able to get himself free. Just as she pulled him to his feet, she turned her eyes on Eomer, who had moved to stand beside his throne and was using it as support. All his attention was bent upon what unfolded before him-- he didn't notice the shadowed figure creeping from behind a wall hanging, or the dagger in it's hand...

Rynwyn pointed and opened her mouth to shout a warning...

ok this gives me something to work with.---

The man slipped behind Eomer and had the dagger at the kings neck before anyone could react.
He sneered"you may know that the travelers are innocent but you wont live long enough to exhonorate them. And your succor will follow t6he original orders to the letter." His laugh caught the attension of the ramaining loyal gaurds.

To the man they stopped. The danger to their king was more pressing then trators.

THe man started to move with the king to ward an exit. He laughed "Noldon, you will gaurd my back."

Noldon appraoched, "forgive me, sire but these men promised to kill all of my family if I did not assist them."

Eomer understood well how important family was.

NOlodn spoke soflty,"forgive me." Then with speed that surprised even Eomer he grabbed the attackers hand with the dager and pulled it away from the king and held it close to his own troat.

Eomer managed to step a couple of steps away.

He heard Noldon speak."go ahead kill me, i will allow no harm to come to my king while i live."
The man did drive a dagger in to Noldons sholder. At which Noldon fell.
As Noldon fell the cry of "NO!"was heard, a second later the attacker also had a dager in his shoulder. A finely made, true flying elvish dager. Which he removed threw back at the crowd.

ooc- this should give others a change to complete his ascape or capture. not to mention deside who he is. after things settle down Noldon will be treated and can explain himself.

The spell was broken, spectators became part of the fray. A sudden surge of bodies forward, as courtiers, guards, men and women assembled leapt as one for the hooded figure and his fellow bulbous conspirators. However, as with the best laid plans, this one was flawed simply by their own sheers numbers, and it was only in the nick of time that Glorfindel pulled the stricken Noldon from their path.
Blood was pouring from the wound on his shoulder, thick and fast, the knife had penetrated a main vein. Without even pausing to think Glorfindel laid his hands over the wound and put forth all his power.
White hot pain shot through his entire body, blinding him, bending him double, he twitched, writhed, and gnashed his teeth, but he did not stop until the wound was closed. With that relieft surged through his entire being, sweat pouring off his brow, but all this was blocked out by the sudden feel of a hand on his left arm.

Noldon was sitting bolt upright, his eyes wide with fear, pointing a shaking finger to a door. As Glorfindel turned he saw a dark cloak whipping out of sight. The assasain was fleeing the scene.

"I'll get him," the elf muttered to Noldon, hoping to reassure him, but in all honesty he wasn't sure he could.

His arm still burned with agony everytime he so much as twitched it, his felt weak from the effort exerted by healing, but there was no time. It was him or no one.

The gargantuan press of the crowd had by now reduced the other opponents into whimpering babies, after Brenna's little display not one of them dared to try anything else. However Glorfindel paid no heed to any of this, dodging through the hall and the mass of bodies, snatching up sword and shield as he went. Reaching the door he slammed it open, and stepped inwards.

Beyond loomed a long, gloomy corridor. There were no torches or windows looking out onto it, the only light came from skylights which threw down pale dusty beams at regular intervals. Glorfindel stood in one of these pools of light, his sword glinting, his knuckles white on the handle. There he has, a dark, masked figure, some twenty feet ahead, in the last pool of light. Behind him a wall of impenetrable darkness loomed up. Glorfindel froze.

"What's the matter?" a thin, high, cold voice floated down the corridor to him, "I would have thought you no stranger to battle and fear. But it seems that in fact you hide a lot of fears, particularly about that young peasant girl.....Ryn. Well lets put you to the test."

Slowly in the dark, a cold glint of steel appeared, a long sword. But instead of charging he turned and disappeared again into the darkness. Without a moments hesistation Glorfindel followed.

After the pools of the light the darkness loomed up sheer and blind, but in it Glorfindel knew lay his quarry. However the corridor ahead was deserted, and ahead it ended in a blank wall. No escape, but where......?
A door, ajar. Yes! Lunging forward Glorfindel thew it wide and stepped in.

It was all Ryn could do to keep from being trampled by the surge of people, and since the guards were no longer after her, she set about to trying to free her brother (who was still not amused by what Glorfindle had done to him)

She did just in time to stand and see the assassin fleeing, and Glorfindel going after him. She was convinced that the elf was in no shape to be doing anything of the sort, and giving Hiligan a pat on the shoulder she followed, gritting her teeth against her dull pain. She scooped up a dropped sword, cursing to find it a might heavier than her own, but hurried forward nonetheless. When she came into the gloomy corridor, she saw no-one, and it was completely dark.
She strained her ears but could hear nothing- no sounds of battle, no voices. Taking a steady breath she continued, looking from side to side nervously.
Finally she came to the door, surprised that she had not noticed it before, and listened at its opening. Yes, she heard movement within! Pushing it back, she peeked around and saw
Glorfindel standing poised, ready to fight a dark figure.

(meh, I have to run. if this isnt ok, I'll add more later, but if anyone can work with it, feel free! ><)

As soon as Glorfindel left Noldon Earendel came up to him. THere was no doubt that he wanted to follow the attacker. Earendel put her hand firmly on his shoulder. She spoke firmly. "No my freind you must not go galavantling after him."

Noldon was not eniterly convinced and tried again to head after the attacker.

At which point Eomer spoke up, "Noldon I need you to stay here and keep me safe, incase they return." Eomer did not really feel he needed extra gaurds but he was concerned for Noldon's safety.

Earendel saw the gaurd looking at the door glofindel and ryn left by she spoke" I will follow the make sure they are ok."

Noldn spoke"how when both of your daggers are gone?" At that point he pulled Earendels missing dagger from his belt and handed it back to her.

Earendel helps Noldon to his feet. As she does so someone apporaches Eomer with a dagger and a small flesh wound on the arm toward Earendel. She steps forward not sure what to make of it, but desides that if this is another attack on Eomer they will have to go through ther first. Earendel hears Noldon moving right behind her.

The older man stops. He speaks softly. "do you know who throw that dagger at the asassin?"

Earendel looked surpirsed at the question but she realized that the old man was most likely worried about his king and cared little for anything else. So it was not a shock that he had not noticed her defence of Noldon. She replies gently " I am the one who throw it "

The old man looked confused. He words confirmed "how can a woman of Rohan own a weapon like this it is not of rohan make, I made many weapons in my younger days?"

Earendel smiled "that dager was my mothers, it is from lotherien as she was."

The shock and confusion on the old mans face was too much for Earendel to deal with. she turned away. Her words"please give it to Noldon and he can take care of it."

With that she bolted to and throught the door behind Ryn. the darkness made her use the ears more then her eyes.

Glorfindel was confronted with a sudden draught on his face, as he flung the door wide. Before him stood the cavernous stables, a room of great length and high of rafter. Down the middle of this ran a great way, which led into stalls of both side, these however were empty. Above Glorfindel’s head the roof ran up into great oaken rafters, and here the sun threw golden dusty bars through the skylights. These lay as great pillar across the floor of the loft area, but only served to deepen the gloom around them. The loft itself could be reached by a number of rickety looking ladders lying at regular intervals on the spaces between the stalls. It was impossible to guess the dimensions of that great space, for despite the sunlight; shadows lay heavily upon it, foiling even Glorfindel’s elven eyes. His hearing, though, could not be so easily fooled, and the tell tale signs of boots lightly scraping wooden boards came from the loft.
Casting his gaze around, Glorfindel caught sight of a sign. Scuff marks in the straw covered floor, leading straight to the nearest ladder. To the elf these seemed plainly to be little more than bait laid to lure him into this creature’s web, but the warning in his heart was overridden by his resolve to finish what he had started. Thus, having seen the bait, he took it. Slowly, very slowly he crossed towards the ladder, before pausing briefly at its foot. Once more he glanced around, but the stables were now once again gloomy and still. Behind he had detect sounds of pursuit, his friends? Or perhaps more followers of his quarry? There was no time to find out.

Tucking the sword into his belt and hooking his right arm through to the next rug, so to keep hold of his shield, Glorfindel scaled the ladder. The going was not easy for his injured arm was still weak from the poison, as well as he being drained from healing Noldon. These did not deter the elf, for he at last reached the level of the loft. The platform ran the length of the stalls and then curved around, running parallel back along the other wall.
Its primary purpose was the storing of food for the royal steeds and other riding equipment. As a result there was a great amount of clutter from this odd assort of crates, saddles and other none descript items. No sign could Glorfindel espy of the pursued, for the shadows were denser here than on the lower level. Anyone of them could easily conceal him.
Mounting the platform steadily whilst readying his shield and sword, Glorfindel set off down the walkway. Every fibre of his being strained for sounds of movement, the brushing of a cloak against a packing crate, the sliding of a sword from a….
Twisting at the last minute, his own sword slammed into one arching for his back. The two blades ricocheted off one and other, but the resulting impact jarred Glorfindel’s arm, causing him to drop his weapon. It hurtled from the loft and clatter to the ground below. This had not thrown him off balance though, as his left am whipped around and drove his shield straight into the assailant’s gut.
The sound of a groan, and then a blinding pain as Glorfindel’s whole world was turned upside down, landing him flat on his back. His head struck a packing crate sending stars bursting before his eyes. The next strike was too close, as it drove into the case where Glorfindel’s head had been two seconds before. Not waiting for a third, Glorfindel leapt to his feet, diving wildly at his assailant. Somehow he made contact, the momentum sending them both tripping over the crates. The last thing Glorfindel was aware of was the impact with something soft and then he was falling, bails of hay alongside him. Finally there was a dull thud, followed by an equally dull pain, and more thuds as bails of hails cascaded from the loft to the floor below, filling the air with dust and pieces of dead grass.

(ooc: ok well that's my bit, I don't mind what anyone else posts next, or what they think as happned to the attacker. In fact I would welcome a bit of interest. )

The old man gave the dagger to Noldon and went to find some else to bandage his wound.

It did not take long for Earendel to catch up to ryn. Wehn she did she spoke softly, "we must follow, If fear Lord glorfindelis not going to be up to this. I only hope he will survive."

They arrived in the stable type area just in time to see
more thuds as bails of hails cascaded from the loft to the floor below, filling the air with dust and pieces of dead grass.

As soon as the bails stopped Earendel stepped forward, in gloom she could make out Glorfindel lying still amougn the bails, he was not covered by any so she went to hom and checked, he was alive. she spoke to the look on Ryn's face , "he is alive. I want you to stay here and watch over him, I will go searching for the attacker. The orginal fight happend up in the loft, Please be alert for others trying to finish what he started."

With the Earendel went up the nearest ladder and started to check out the loft. As soon as her feet were firmly on the floor above she drew her sword. Her steps were very quiet. Her ears on full alert, nothing would get within sword range of her without her knowing about them.

She soon saw that other crates had also been knocked over she went part way around them and saw a crouched figure with a drawn sword waiting. His words were "So you think young girl that you will do any better then that elf?"
At which he stood. Earendel watched him closely. Taking one more step toward him, she knew that she fought her best when calm and men ofter fought worst when angery. She chuckled she words sounding like a laugh, "You were barely able to throw a badly wounded and weak elf over the edge of the loft. You wil have no chance with a strong alert person like me. I have had many more years of experince then you, boeng an elf maiden"

ooc- hope this works for you Ryn, (if not let me know and we can figure itout) I kind of thought youd prefere to gaurd and tend Glorfindel, who im sorry about insulting after he was so helpful to Noldon but its part of the fight game. Will work on typos later. as per usual.
