Morwin sorry about your mom. I hope she recovers well. Do take care of that cough. Can I offer some imaginary herbal tea or a good rub with something to heat up the lungs and make th cough productive? Or is it just nasty allergies? Hope it’s better soon.

Thanks for the kind words about the photos I hate having my photo taken- always self-conscious about how I look, but it’s one of the nicer ones we’ve done recently.

The instrument is called a "bandura" (pronounced ban-DOO-ra). It descended from a middle eastern precursor to the guitar and was used by Ukrainian bards as they travelled across the country singing news of the land. It sounds like a harp, because you pluck the strings and they keep resonating until you pluck thenagain (i.e. - no frets, no holding down the string). I'll bet swabby could play up a real storm. ) I think it sounds very Elvish and would love to pick it up again, but there never seems to be any time.

Scots –what sweet story about José. I agree that we get such a boost of spirit from moments like that. They are truly magical.

Hi everyone. Just a quick note before work.

Roomy is doing well. She is starting to complain so she is back to her usual self. Don't know how much longer she will be in hospital. Swabby: I gave her a big fluffy bear to hug so that she can cough. Told her I want it back for Christmas. It's a Christmas bear.

Rose: Sorry you're down. Just pick yourself up, dust off your wings and soar over the land and breath in the fresh air. That will help.

Nice to hear everyone is doing fine. Morwin: Sorry to hear about your mom. She is in my prayers.

Neenime: Nice photo.

Scots: Nice to hear that a child has you as a favorite teacher. I had one in school that inspired me.

Well, must bounce off to work. Speaking of work: I bought a lottery ticket and it paid off. It was a ticket that a customer didn't want so I purchased it and it paid out $580. Cdn. Yeah me, :disco: That's the most I have ever won in my life. It came in handy because the bank account was looking pretty slim.

Well, I'm gone.

Interesting words! Will have to give them some thought.

balrog, congrats on the lottery!

Morwin I hope your mom feels better soon. Take time for yourself to take care of that cough. I have a bit of one myself, fall allergies I think.

Beautiful hotos Neemine! Thanks for sharing!

Scots, I know it must make you feel good to know you're getting through to at least some of them. I hope the boy does well.

Around here High School Homecoming is a big deal and my son-in-law is riding some local cheer leaders in a fire truck for their parade (He's a city firefighter by profession and Chief of the Volunteer department out in the county where we live). My granddaughter is going to ride along too, of course. She loves to ride in the truck and is thrilled when she thinks all the people along the street are waving at HER!

Ok ,there is a gap in my culutral education , or maybe Homecoming is an American thing. Would someone please explain to me what HOMECOMING is all about? Who comes home? From where? And why all the hullaballoo?

Thanks.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. I'm such a silly dragon sometimes. Your words were just the thermal I needed to lift me.

Magoleth and I had a lovely quiet day today, wandering around a large parkland. Just walking, talking and enjoying the beautiful trees and wildlife. The weather was kind to us too.

That's a beautiful picture of you and your hubby, neenime.

Balrog: Good to hear your room mate is doing well, and congratulations on your windfall.

What a ray of sunshine your story about Jose was, scots. Makes it worthwhile doesn't it.

HT: Great scottish words. I have a notion what most of them are, but will leave it to you to explain.

One word that my granny used: Peery, for describing high heels.

Morwin: Hope your mom is soon well and look after yourself.

Hugs to everyone I haven't mentioned and hugs to those I have.

Blessings

Happy Friday!

We had an inservice day today so no orklings! We went out to lunch! New principal gave us the last two hours to "work in our rooms." I love him!

Scots, God always sends an angel to inhabit one of the orklings about the time we feel discouraged with teaching. Glad Jose has a favorite teacher; he picked well.

Tried to take some pictures of the tabby cat amidst the mums after school but he was uncooperative.

I need hot cocoa and pumpkin muffins!

Happy Friday and Happy 48th birthday, Viggo:heart:!

Put in TTT while hubby is napping. We rented some movies to watch later tonight and tomorrow (his only day off). He wasn't too happy with a comment I made earlier so we ended up not talking. Sigh, I can't stand to argue and will try to patch things up when he gets a bit of rest. Lots of work and not enough sleep can make for an irritable hobbit.

Congratulations on your winnings, Balrog.

Will have to think on those words, HT! Told hubby last night he looked knackered and he asked where I heard that.

What a beautiful picture of you and your hubby, Neenime! What book were you referring to?

TGIF everyone and have a wonderful weekend.

Re: Homecoming

A traditional football game (American football :twitch: ) in which alumni come back--hence the term "Homecoming" and cheer on their old alma mater. During the game a Homecoming King and Queen are crowned. Little known factoid---yours truly was a semi finalist for Homecoming Queen when I was in college. Makes me laugh now. Then after the game, or sometimes the night after, there is a dance where there is frolicking and general merriment. That is if you're invited to the dances. In high school I generally wasn't. The one Homecoming I was invited to by a guy that I desperately wanted to go out with was such an unmitigated disaster that I wasn't keen to have a repeat performance.

I truly must get a life because I've just spent the last 45 minutes finding out the definitions to HT's words. On a Friday night no less! Wonder if I'm right? If any of you have neat words that I could use in a vocabulary enrichment activity for my class, please PM me and I'll put them on my list.

Poor spousal unit. It wasn't a wonderful end to the icky week. My accident is coming back to haunt me. We got a bill in the mail for $1,400!! Payable within 15 days thank you very much. It was for a MRI that I had almost a year ago. It's so special that they are billing me now. That and I've used up all but $300 of the medical insurance that I've had on my car insurance. :banghead: :banghead: Will this never end?? I guess I'm going to be spending part of my weekend writing a letter to the other insurance company trying to get this whole thing behind me and get a settlement over and done with. I HATE insurance companies! Swabby, I sure hope you don't have to go through anything like I've had to go through. :banghead: :banghead: So I was snapping at the poor spousal unit when I got home. I don't usually do that, and he was a little taken aback. So he took me out to dinner and a little retail therapy. Feeling much better now with some caffine in me. Caffine is something else I really never have. Hope I don't have a rip-snorter of a headache tomorrow. Too much homework, school work, and nasty letter to insurance company work to do.

Well, off I go. Have a good weekend!

HT, I think I know one of the words-soor plooms a sour Scottish candy or sweet. That is the only one I know.

Scots I am so sorry that you are having insurance problems that can be a pain in the butt. Homecoming court huh. I wasn't to keen on high school myself. You have a good weekend.

Mith I hope you and hubby are on good terms now. I hate to argue myself. If you want a laugh go to the Halloween pictures of the October newsletter and you will see me and a couple of friends. Rose helped me. I think I am going to surprise my daughter and go do a surprise visit tomorrow.

To all that were not here or if I missed your post I am sorry. Have a great weekend and I will post again on Sunday.

Sindy, hot cocoa and pumpkin muffins sound yummy. I have a yellow tabby cat named tiger. we also call him pooh.

Rose thank you for the help you gave me with the picture. It sounds like you and mag had a great time. It sounded peaceful and serene where you were.

Morwin I hope your mom is better now. Take care of your headache.

Balrog I am glad your roomie is doing better. Congrads on your winning that money.

Neenime I do love that photo. You look so happy. The Homecoming. The girls dress in formals and look just beautiful. Their escorts are their teams football players. It is a high school function usually. But sometimes college in our area anyway also has them.

Calle you probably won't get this in time but have a great flight and a visit. We will miss you.

Celebrain, I bet your granddaughter does feel special in that fire truck. How old is she? I know you told us before but I forgot.

Timberwolf was soo knackered too...

Morwin I hope your Mom is feeling better...

Balrog congrats on your winnings.

Scot I hope your insurance gets settled soon...

Calle wish I could get to your side of the puddle.

Neenime please let me know when the book is finished.

I'm still here. Happily reading all your posts. Swabby, where are you?

Balrog glad to hear your roomie is getting better. Also, nice windfall from the lottery.

Scots was happy to read about your student who likes you. I'm glad you have a fan.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for my mom. She does feel better already, although she has to be in the hospital at least over the weekend. Now, we all just hope that, her condition can be helped with medicines, and she won't need surgery, which always has its risks, especially for an old person.

Myself, I've got a nose cold now as well. Well, gives me a good excuse to be lazy this weekend.

Hope you have a good weekend, everybody!

Good morning everyone. You're not going to believe this but I was pre-emptively molested by Wormtongue's sister, so I had to take yesterday off to make ammends. Y'all do believe me, don't you?

That is a great picture, Neenime. Could you be a bit like my brother? He's never taken a good picture in his life because he's always got to make some kind of face. I don't take great ones either, but that's because my teef have big gaps in them and I can't smile.

Well, I don't feel like saying much. I've been locking horns with some r/w extremists (politics) on a chat room and it makes me feel like I'm too dirty to talk to nice people. I guess I shouldn't be doing it, but how I love to bloody their noses.

Hi guys!

here are the meanings for the words

Peevers: a traditional children’s street game a version of hopscotch if you know what that is

Pelters: Insults or moans or complaints My boss came back from a meeting and said people had been “giving him pelters”

pluke: As Billy Connolly describes it – a singular acne a spot

glaikit: daft, stupid looking, imagine the look on Pippin’s face when he doesn’t quite get it and you will know exactly the expression it refers to.

stoor: dust

soor plooms: candies, boiled sweets they are round green and sour I haven’t had them for ages

Welcome back Rose glad you are feeling a bit better.

Love and hugs to you all

Aiya just a quick post for tonight...

Donated a couple of backpacks full of stuff at Nightwatch.
Saw Timberwolf there he was working on a sheath for his
flashlights...
Seems to me that he has calmed down and gotten into
the detail work on what he needs before taking off...

Silverleaf and I are cleaning out stuff, between volunteering
and studying for midterms...

I am still having dreams about Elves only now some of them
are daydreams... just as well I don't drive.

We went up to our garden plot and someone had picked all
the peppers and most of the tomatoes along with all the sage
oregano and one whole taragon plant...
I wished a pox on them!
For stealing food from those who can't afford to buy it is like
stealing life and they have been stealing peppers and other
food from all the plots!
OK so I have food issues - "When it comes to low income
garden plots... the food needs to go to the gardeners."...

Silverleaf and I will be over at St Francis at noon on sunday
to feed the low income people and we had wanted to bring
some garden food with us.

Sigh, sorry about the food rant...

I hope folks are enjoying the weekend...

Seems we all need some thermals, and not underwear to lift us at the moment, what with Scots added finance stuff, nose colds, garden produce thieves, etc. Dear me. *sigh*

Swabby: As my ex used to say 'if it hurts, don't do it'. But I enjoy bloodying noses too on occasion.

Better run. Got lots to do today. Maybe back later.

Take care y'all and *hugs*

Oh, Vicarcat I'm so sorry the garden was vanadalized. What IS wrong with people?

There was a story ( balrog will know this) about 8 and 9 year old boys who shoved a 12-yr-old kid with a disability into a burning shed. Fortunately, a neighbour rescued him. The 8 yr old was interviewed and said he was under threat of being beaten up by 12 yr-old girls if he didn't do it, even though he knew very well it was wrong.

What do we need to do to make people treat each other with kindness and stop hurting? I guess it's an age-old question.

scots sp sorry about you medical insurance woes. That must have made you feel awful. Sharpen that pen/sword and may your battle with the other company go in your favour.

Morwin good news about your mom.

Mith hubby and I have on=conversations like that, too. Fortunately, tjeyget fewer ad farther between as we get older. Some of itis learning to keep out feet out of our respective mouths ad sopme of it is l;earning to gore crankiness and some of it is even learing to talk it out sooner. *sigh* A relatnioship should come with a manual, but whom would you trust to write one?

The book I referred to was something hubby wants to publish via an Internet site that will set it al up for you. He's decided to do a Ukrainian heritage book. He'll call it The Essentials of Being Ukrainian and it will include fave recipes, making Easter Eggs, Uke music and important phrases to know. PArt tongue-in-cheek, part gift to our descendants.

Ending on a happy note had another delightful evening with jess and a couple of other friends. ROTK, pumpkin cheesecakse, Raspberry Tiramisu, Ginger cookies, pakora, fresh veggies, Indian stew, wine, port, and tea. Ahhh (contentedly rubs belly) Hmmm - a good reminder to sign up to help at the local homeless shelter, since I have so much for myself.

Have great day, all

Good morning, all. I know that's good advice you've given me, Scots, Rose and Melian. Of course one cannot argue with a sick mind or an idiot, and that is what I end up doing in that chat room. There are those who still maintain that a certain swaggering, verbally-challenged politician is a saint, and take great exception to those (like me) who say he's anything but. I go in there hoping to do some good but invaribly end up butting heads with cult-like, brainwashed morons whose opinions you'd never change in a million years. As one journalist wrote, "If he was seen having sex with a goat on the Whitehouse lawn, some would say Oh, that poor goat is injured and he's just trying to help it" I'll say no more about that.

I think I can safely say that summer is gone and Fall is now in full swing. We've had a lot of clouds and rain mixed with periods of sunshine and gentle warmth. I like it, and so does Tommy. He's been wanting to wear his new winter clothes and coat so badly. He has gone to school quite over-dressed several times because it was cool in the morning, but found himself roasting in the afternoon.

I watched a series of shows on the "Discovery" channel last night about savants that was very interesting. One doctor explained it as "Islands of exceptional abilities surrounded by seas of inabilities". I thought that was a pretty good description.

Those insurance problems are scary, Scots. The insurance company for the driver that hit me wants my son and I to "sign ze peeper" stating that we're not going to sue them. I'm not sure what to do.

I hope your mother continues to improve and that you will have her around for many more years, Morwin.

It just occured to me that my Dad passed on this day, October 22, 1999. He was 91. He had enjoyed exceptional health and vitality right up untill a few months before the end.
He sure loved the women (I had to get it from somewhere) and had his last romantic encounter or "fling" with one of his childhood sweethearts when he was about 85. I'll never forget that he said "You know, she had real ugly teeth when we were teenagers, but now she looks pretty good---she's got dentures".
I was always shy and had trouble striking up conversations with people, but Dad would just walk up to anyone, anywhere and start talking, usually embarrassing me in the process because I thought he always said silly things.

I like those new words you taught us, HT. I'm going to have to write them down and try to use them when I can.

Sorry to hear about your garden, Vicarcat. Is it possible you've got a rabbit problem? You know they can just burrow underneath and pull the veggies through without ever leaving a track, right? (That's how Bugs Bunny does it)

I guess I need to stop for now and see if I can scare up some breakfast. Sorry I didn't speak to each of you individually, I'll try and make it up next week. Happy Sunday! Swabby

Awelyn, I haven't found the Halloween photos yet. Will try and search again after I post. Seeing friends is a good way to cheer up. Thanks for your and Neenime's kind words.. We seldom argue anymore and if we do, it does not get ugly or last long. He was exhausted and in a much better state on Saturday. You mentioned store clerks, Scots. That is what set him off. He gets so impatient with people and I tend to remind him not everyone is blessed with intelligence and we all look at things from different perspectives.

Morwin, hope your cold gets better fast. It is a good reason to pamper yourself. Glad to hear your Mom is doing better.

Could think of some fun ways to use those words, HT. Now first to get them in this aging brain! Could use a bit of help on pronunciation, lol. Will hope for a day when you can say them aloud to us in person. Thanks so much for sharing.

Cat, that is so sad that someone would steal from your garden. Would like to think it was someone doing for the reason of being poor and hungry and not just out of maliciousness. In a real sense, they were stealing from God's garden.

Elephants and donkeys and now goats at the White House, Swabby. What next, lol? Maybe a few chords from your magical guitar will soothe and soften and we can put an end to all the needless suffering and hate in the world. Oh, if only!

That sounds like a fantastic book, Neenime. An awesome way to pass on your heritage. Please let us know when it is finished.

Awelyn, I did not much like high school either. I was chosen as a queen for the first grade and was so excited since we (king & I) got to ride on a convertible in the local Halloween parade. But I didn't much get into those things when in high school or care to be part of the "popular" cliques. Oh let's face it, was more into the opposite sex, lol! Boy did I have a lot to learn!

Almost didn't make it to church this morning, was one of those mornings. But glad I did as it always lifts my spirit. Next Sunday is "Undie Sunday". Everyone is to bring underwear (NEW) to be donated to the poor. They do this once a month and I thought it was a cool and fun way to help.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday and staying warm and cozy in this chilly fall weather. Love and hugs to you all.:love:

Hi everyone just got back from seeing my grandkids and phew does Grimma have bad breath and it was just a little peck I gave him. It was worth it to see my grandkids. I surprised them and my daughter. The looks on their faces were priceless.

Mith and anyone that wants to see the pictures go th General Realm discussions Forum then to realm newsletter at the top then October Newsletter and then Halloween Pictures thread and you will see my last years Halloween costume and my friends thanks to Rose.

Neenime, just where is our Miss Jess? I miss her. I am glad you had a great time. I listen to my ROTK cd going and coming back from the grandkids visit and cried in the appropriate places. How awful about the little boy. Where is compassion in the world and the love we need to survive this planet.

Hey Mel how are you?

Oh Swabby ,watch your blood pressure. I had to stop going to chats I would get so angry and I can't type fast enough. My security program on my computer won't let me go on the FOF chat rooms.

Rose, It is very chilly here. I went with my daughter and grandkids to a German 1800's fall festival. The grandkids could make candles and we watched a man make swords and we went to a American Indian village where they taught on archery . There was plenty of German food and things to watch and do. It was on many hillsides. I had to rest so often. I thought of you VicarCat,I have to get in shape to keep up with daughter and grandkids. Grandkids tasted homemade apple cider . We had a ball but we were all knackered HT
Have a good day/night.

Hi everyone.

Good news: Roomy called today and she sounds good. Tuckered out but good. She told me they did a triple by-pass. While they were in her chest, they found another artery that was 20% closed up so they did that one too. She has bruises on her right arm from her fingers to her elbow. She also has a 4 inch scar on her chest, right arm and left leg. She thinks she will be out by Tuesday but she has to see the doctor before the end of the week.

Viracat: Sorry to hear about the veggie bandit. It's sick when you hear that and there are people to feed that need it.

Morwin: Hope your cold gets better. Warm tea with honey will help. If not use brandy in you tea. My mom used to put Buckleys in her coffee. It worked lickity spit.

Neenime: Good to hear your hubby is putting a book together. Hope we get to see it.

Swabby: You got that right about the weather. We had snow here since Thanksgiving and it hasn't gone away. The weatherman is predicting more snow here sometime this week.

Just made supper: homemade Chinese food. I use beef strips, some kind of sauce I could find in the fridge, LOTS of onions, (great for colds), and frozen veggies. Too expensive to buy fresh so frozen it is.

Well, I better go have supper before it burns.

So good to read all of your posts.

Sorry about the veggie bandit (as Balrog called it)!

We have a friend with a big garden who invited us to pick what we want and we still ask each time. Some people have no sense of right and wrong!

I got lots done this weekend so I am very self-satisfied. Feels good to get tons of things done that need doing.

Happy Fall everyone. Stay warm. I made myself a fleece blanket (like it's so hard) this weekend and have been crocheting dishcloths. I love crochetted cotton dishcloths. They wear like iron and last 4-ever.

Well it's pretty near bedtime so I'll say goodnight now.

Has anyone else besides me have a case of the OHIMAs [oh-he-mahs]? Have any of you ever heard this term? I remember my dad saying that and just cracking himself up. Now, my dad was a very serious man, VERY intelligent, so when he cracked himself up over a corny joke, it would make you sit up and take notice. LOL

One bright spot on the horizon, we don't have school on Friday. :disco: I think it's a fall sanity break, and I so need it. I spent nine hours yesterday doing lesson plans, correcting work, *trying* to get grades posted on the web...no such luck there, and writing two article abstracts that I have to have done tonight for my grad class. But I did get a lot of things done for which I am feeling quite proud of myself of like Brandywine. At least I'm mostly caught up. No rest for the wicked and the righteous don't need it!

Veggie bandits. It makes my blood boil that someone would take from others. That is just so foreign to me that I can't get my head around it.

Well, not much else going on in my boring workaholic life. Someday I am have to get me one of those...you know, a life.

Take good care.

Scots – thanks for the Homecoming explanation. Whew! Now I don’t feel like such a Stranger in a Strange Land.

Awelyn – the joke is that that pose was bout the 10th shot we had to take, because of lighting and shadow problems. So by then, our smiling muscles were sore, our mouths were threatening to be in snarl position. We are saying “Yes, DAAAAR-ling, I really DOOOOO love you. Take the damn photo, willya?!?!?”

Vicarcat and balrog – I will certainly let you know. At present we are only planning to print a few copies for family and a few more to try and sell. If I can figure out a way to send you a preview, I will.

Swabby - it’s hard not to do battle with some fools. Not that you’ll have much success, but sometimes it seems that an objection needs to be registered on oral grounds. So these folks don’t get the idea that everyone agrees with them.

It puts me in mind of a story.

Two farmers in wagons came to opposite ends of a narrow bridge. Neither one would budge and the argument got heated. One yelled “I never back away for an idiot!”. The other one grinned as he moved his team of horses back and said “I always do.”

NO time to catch up on all posts yet. Maybe later.

Thanks to those of you who reminding us of Viggo’s birthday.   I plum forgot! Let us raise a chorus of “Hallelujah” for the delightful things that the Creator has wrought for us! :rolling:

Scots, how funny, that can go up there with HT words. I was just wondering if you might know someone that could help you grade your papers besides the DH? Like maybe a teenager that wants to be a teacher. We have in our school system a program called A+. The people involved have to make good grades A's and B's and they are assigned to a teacher and they grade papers and and copy papers for teachers and if they do that for four years starting as a high school freshman the school pays for the first two years of their college. Maybe you could find someone just to help you grade some of the easy papers that just have a key. Not having school Friday will help. Our teachers are having a in service today but I still have to do my job. It's ok because I had Friday off. Have a good day. BTW, good for you getting your things done.

Brandywine good for you too. My mom tried to teach me crocheting and I never could get it. I worked with a lady that made her son a camo fleece blanket that you like tied it together. Do you know what I am talking about? Her daughter's was some kind of pink girlie designs and both looked quite nice when finished. Happy Fall to you.

Balrog, I am glad your roomie is doing so well. Balrog, oh my goodness it is like your winter is there and you have skipped fall.

Have a good day.

Once again I was posting the same time you were Neenime and how funny about your photos I laughed out loud when I read your post . My daughter looked at me like I was crazy. I really enjoyed the farmer story.

I forgot to tell you all what my six year old grandson did before I left yesterday. He came over and handed me a light bulb and said may it be a light to you in dark places. I just cracked up but also was proud of him for knowing lines from FOTR movie.

That's a funny story about your grandson, Awelyn. The last time my grandaughter was here we watched "Curse of the Were-rabbit" with Wallace and Grommit. Later, she was going around holding out her up-turned knuckles and saying "I'm just crackers about cheese, Grommit!" She scares easily and is still too young for a LotR movie, but hopefully one day she'll tell me she's not going to turn me into anything "un-natural" or other funny quote.

I'll never forget the time I was the chosen photographer at a family reunion. It was in the early seventies and everyone had little cheap cameras except for the world traveler, (me) and I had a fancy-schmancy 35 mm SLR Mamiya/Sekor that I had purchased in Honk Kong. So the whole family posed for a series of what were certain to be great pictures, as I impressed them with my tripod and self-timer. Naturally, as it often is when so many are counting on you, I had failed to load the film properly and took nary a single picture that day. Geeez, what's that floating in the punchbowl?
I'm sure your hubby has never done anything like that, Neenime. Oh, and that's a great story about the farmers and the bridge.

In the "for what it's worth" department, the two smartest and most knowledgeable people who frequent that chatroom that I need to stay away from are ladies in their fifties. Lucky for me, we are on the same side. I'd hate to have them turn their big guns on me.

I haven't a clue what a "OHIMA" is, Scots. Oh how I miss Atlantis? Ohio Institute of Motherless Agrarians? How about open holes invite mischevious activities? I give up.

Where the heck is MT? Did she say she was walking to China in search of rangers? And Rose, where is she? I'd better stock up on chapsticks (lip balm) if I'm going to give Grima a hand. (Perhaps I should say lip)

Happy Monday! Swabby

Next Sunday is "Undie Sunday". Everyone is to bring underwear (NEW) to be donated to the poor.
Too funny! Great idea with a superb name. I wonder if my Unitarians would go for it. I mean, we have pagan services and other unusual things, so why not undies?

awelyn your grandson is obviously very bright (tee-hee)

swabby loading the film wong is the kind of thing I would do with a camera. Hubby is very careful with those things.

OHIMA
yeah, I'm lost, too. Another cultural shortcoming.

I'm here swabby. Busy cleaning yesterday and my son was here too, so the comp was occupied and it was pretty quiert on the Site.

I have no idea what OHIMAS are either. *confuzzled look* Lol!

Awelyn, here is a link to your halloween pic. awelyn and friends

I chuckled at your photo session, Neenime. I love the part in Crocodile Dundee when, whatever her name is tries to take a snap of the aborigine (can't remember his name either, lol). And he says 'No, you can't do that.' She says 'Ah, it will steal your soul.' And he says 'No, you've got the lens cap on'. Something like that anyway. Just tickles me. I've done that myself. :dizzy:

*cracks Grima as he tries to sneak a kiss* 'Go away!!'

Going to make some chicken broth. Bye for now.

Hugs

I'm glad to see that you're still with us, Rose. I thought you might have gone on a walkabout.

Ooh, Mith, HT and MT's gonna be jealous Awelyn! You look cute in that outfit and I'm wondering which hunky king behind you won the coin-toss.

Just popping in to say hi and avoid Grima kissing scenario. Nothing new happening.
Students at the elementary school are having a ball tossing piles of leaves into the air again and again. It's so fun to hear them giggle over it.

Later,
Brandy
