I joined not to long ago, and never really got to get on and say hi! I loved the LoTR movies, and have just started to read the series and am LOVING them right now. Hopefully I can learn every bit of Elvish possible (I'm VERY welcome to lessons) and hope to meet some new friends here! Hope you all like personality, because I tend to thrust mine out on people unintentionally! :disco:

a good friend shared the link to this site the Council of Eldrond.
I am a pagan spiritualist & musician although my academic training is in visual art.
I first read the LotR when I was a childe, and have been forever marked by its beauty & the vastness of Tolkiens vision. where I grew up where I live is remote and the countryside here is exactly like much of the art and the world recreated by artists who have used Middle Earth as their theme. currently I am learning elvish so that I can speak with my friend in a language more befitting to her.

Hello!

Well, I'm Pippin_Luv. I love Pippin. <3 He was my favorite Hobbit from the start. I also like Legolas. I think he's the coolest. ^__^

I've just recently gotten into The Lord of the Rings. So I'm still new to the whole storyline. I've never read the books, but I do like the movies!

Welcome to CoE Pippin_Luv , glad to have you with us. I hope you'll like the world of LoTR more and more as you will get to know more about it. This site is a wonderful starting point to get into it, with lots of information and goodies. I hope you'll get a chance and the desire to pick up the books as well, they learn you so much more about JRR Tolkien's world .

Hi everybody!
I'm Angel, a 30 years old, soon to be mother of 3 (expecting my third within a month), married woman from Sweden, Scandinavia.
I found this place when I was searching for Elwen hairstyles actually and found it to be very interresting.
I actually have a lot of interrest, but unfortunately very little time for them. I actually only have time to sit by the computer once in a while....
If I've read the books? Oh yes!!! I also collect them.... I do have all three special extended editions of the movies too and I long for the day when the hobbit will come out!
I hope to get to know some of you in here....

I'm glad that even though your time is limited, you honour us with your visits you'll see that every minute spent at our site just flies by, there are so many wonderful things to discover, even years after joining. And we got something for all your interests .
Congratulations on the new familymember ! My best wishes to you, him/her and the rest of the family.
Perhaps you could check out the Realms too, the communities there are a little smaller and hence more close. It might be a good way to get to know people more easily.

Suilad everyone!

My name is Michelle but in my small group of LoTR friends they call me Alatariel.
I've been a fan of Tolkien's books for a long time and immediately fell in love with everything elvish!
I've learned a little Quenya and have just recently started learning Sindarin. One of the reasons I've come to this site is because of the language courses that are offered here and off course because it's just a fabulous site!

My favorite elf is Ereinion Gil-Galad. In my opinion there is just not enough info out there on him. I'm still holding out that they'll find some long lost letter from Tolkien revealing more details about him!

Some other things about me: I love the color blue, the ocean, and I live in Pennsylvania, USA.

Hi everybody. ^_^
My name is Arquilas... you know, for internet purposes. XD But anyway, I was a member here a loooong time ago (like, 5 years ago) and have since forgotten my username and password and my email's not the same, so yeah. I had to just create a new account. haha And this is it!
Anywho, I'm from Florida ("Somewhere you aren't =]" in my profile haha) and I'm 16, about to be 17 on the 25th of this month. I absolutely adore Lord of the Rings and cringe when people tell me that the books were so boring and that the movies were too long. Psh, you people don't know what you're talking about. XD
I also enjoy, along with LotR, reading, writing, music, computers, and history (I'm a nerd; what can I say? )
So yeah. That's me in a nutshell.

I'm new here; I'm Meldacaniel (translate it and you'll see my real name!) I'm a huge fan of LOTR; I've read The Fellowship two times and am reading TTT again. I've seen the movies and love them!

How did you find CoE? Through Bombadil, my friend, coleague and sparring partner

What are your interests? Books, films, writing short stuff, spending time with my better half and child (and how come THAT only came 4th in the list???)

Have you read the 'Lord of the Rings' or only seen the movies? I first read the book 24 years ago and have read it every year since (at least). Just finished it again. Oh yes and the films are superb, despite glaring omissions.

Do you have any questions about finding your way around CoE? No, I love it and can get around fine so far thank you!

God I love this site, look for me mainly on captions and humour lol
